FOR HE SO LOVED
JOHN 3:16-21
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son…”
John 3:16

God repudiates sin. He has always condemned it.  With sin there is no understanding, no accord; and yet, He loves the sinner. His love for us surpasses all understanding and it is so vast that it cannot be measured.  We are his creatures, created for eternal life, but stripped of this privilege through sin.

Because of his love for you and for me, and for all of his creatures, he gave up his own Son as a sacrifice in order to change the destiny of death that awaited us into the destiny of eternal life that we had lost.

His love brings forgiveness and pardon for the offenses committed against Him and covers over the ruins that sin has caused within us.

With his power God builds a new life, guided and sustained by his presence in us. God is with you. His love will not forsake you.

Prayer: Merciful father, I give you thanks for Jesus Christ and for your immense love.  Pardon my sins and cleanse me of my wrongdoing so that I may honor you. Amen.

DE TAL MANERA AMÓ
JUAN 3:16-21
