AT HIS SIDE, EVER VICTORIOUS

PSALM 27:1-3

“The Lord is my light and my salvation.”

Psalm 27:1

Never have I felt as strengthened as in these final months of the year. God has granted this to me, in spite of all the trials I am going through.  And I am sure that this will continue to be the case for all the years that He allows me to live.

There is no light that radiates more confidence in life than the light that flows from Him.  We may pass through many stretches of darkness along our pathway, or perhaps we only see the obstacles around us.  His light will be what guides us, as long as we hold it high and firmly sustain it.

When life’s great storms arise, the fiercest seas ever, they embroil themselves with faith and trust in Him, and then we feel that trust and that presence that strengthen us in order to overcome any obstacle.  He will not forsake us; he will stretch out his hand and be our salvation.  There are no battles in our lives from which we will not emerge victorious, if our Captain is always at our side fighting alongside of us, asking us to fight the good fight with strength.  Let us be confident that by his side we shall always have the victory.

Prayer: Father, give us the strength to win our battles.  Thank you for all the victories that we have won together with you throughout this year that has almost come to an end. Amen.

A SU LADO, SIEMPRE VICTORIOSOS

SALMO 27:1-3

“Jehová es mi luz y mi salvación”

Salmo 27:1

Nunca me había sentido tan fortalecido como en estos últimos meses del año. Dios así me lo ha permitido, a pesar de todas las pruebas por las cuales estoy pasando. Y estoy seguro que así será también en el resto de los años que Él me permita vivir.

No hay luz que irradie  más confianza en la vida que la luz que brota de Él. Quizás tengamos mucha oscuridad en el camino que estemos transitando, o sólo vemos obstáculos a nuestro alrededor. Su luz será la que nos guíe, siempre y cuando la tengamos en alto y la sostengamos con firmeza.

Cuando las grandes tormentas de la vida, el mar más embravecido que haya, se cruzan con fe y confianza en Él, entonces sentimos esa confianza y compañía que nos fortalecen para vencer cualquier obstáculo. Él no nos dejará solos, nos dará su mano y será nuestra salvación. No hay combates en nuestras vidas del que no salgamos victoriosos, si nuestro Capitán está siempre a nuestro lado peleando con nosotros, pidiéndonos que luchemos con fortaleza la buena batalla. Tengamos la seguridad de que  a su lado siempre obtendremos la victoria.

Oración: Padre, danos la fortaleza que necesitamos para ganar nuestras batallas. Gracias por todas las victorias que hemos alcanzado junto a ti en este año que ya casi despedimos. Amén
