THE LORD, MY GUEST

REVELATION 3:20

Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching.

My Father will love them,

and we will come to them and make our home with them.

John 14:23

Have you opened the door of your heart to the Lord? What place do you allow him in your life? Is he someone you meet only on Sundays at church? Is he the friend who is invited when in need of counsel, but is forgotten when things go well? Do you approach him only out of routine each morning, before eating and sleeping?  Or is it as He wishes: a perpetual      friend with whom we share joys, problems, pains, and failures?

There may even be one or more bedrooms in your house whose key you guard so that He is denied entry to them and cannot discover your hidden thoughts. Or do you perhaps hide the key so as not to have to confess the selfish handling of your money?

    

If you love Jesus you should rejoice, opening your house to him, and working in a manner pleasing to Him.

Prayer:  My life, my heart, and my house are open to you. Enter them and govern them. Amen.

EL SEÑOR MI INVITADO

APOCALIPSIS 3:20

El que me ama, mi palabra guardará; y mi Padre le amará,

y vendremos a él, y haremos morada con él

Juan 14:23

¿Abrió usted la puerta de su corazón al  Señor?  ¿Qué lugar le deja tomar en su vida?

¿Es alguien a quien encuentra  solamente el  domingo en la iglesia?

¿Es el amigo que se invita  cuando se necesita un consejo, pero a quien se olvida cuando toda va bien?

¿Es solo a quien la rutina nos hace dirigirnos cada mañana, antes de comer y de dormir?

O es como Él lo desea: el amigo de  todos los días, con quien compartimos alegrías, problemas, penas y fracasos

Quizás haya aun una o varias habitaciones de su casa, cuya llave usted conserva para que Él no tenga acceso a ellas y no descubra sus ocultos pensamientos.  O tal vez esconde  la llave de no tenerle que  confesar la egoísta  gestión de su dinero. Si usted ama a Jesús, debe regocijarse abriéndole su casa y obrando de manera  que Él se halle a gusto en ella

 Oración: Mi vida, mi corazón y mi casa están abiertas a ti. Entra en ellas y gobiérnanos. Amén.
