PLANS FOR THE FUTURE
Romans 1:8-12
…and I pray that now at
last by God’s will
the way may be opened
for me to come to you.
Romans 1:10
The indefatigable Paul
could say, “Everything I have brought from Christ’s Gospel.” His plans to go to
Spain included a stopover in Rome, where he wanted to share the Gospel he was
preaching and be assisted by them in reaching Spain.
Paul gives thanks to God
for the notoriety he has achieved in the world, the Roman’s faith, and his
plea, by God’s will, is to have a prosperous journey, to go to those in Spain
in the fulfillment of a long-cherished desire.
Paul is an inspiration
to inundate our Gospel plans. Our plans are insipid at times, lacking faith’s
sustenance.
What plans do you have
for the future? A career? A new business? A trip? Marriage? To serve God? Don’t
set God aside in each of your projects. Remember that whatever you may do
should be informed by service to a faithful God who always sustains you.
Today I invite you to
read an inspiring biblical text: James 4:13-15. Our lives are uncertain. We
don’t know what the future holds for us, but - Glory be to God! – we know He
has the future in his hands, and may He prosper the plans you have that are in harmony with
His perfect will.
Prayer: I entrust my
journey to you, Lord. In you I trust. Amen.

PLANES
PARA EL FUTURO
ROMANOS
1:8-12
Rogando
que de alguna manera tenga al fin,
por
la voluntad de Dios, un próspero viaje para ir a vosotros.
Romanos
1:10
El
infatigable Pablo pudo decir: todo lo he llenado del Evangelio de Cristo. Sus
planes de ir a España incluían una visita de paso por Roma, deseando compartir
con ellos el evangelio que predicaba, y ser ayudado por ellos para alcanzar a
España.
Pablo
da gracias a Dios por la notoriedad que ha alcanzado por todo el mundo, la fe
de los romanos; y su ruego es poder
tener, por la voluntad de Dios, un próspero viaje para ir a ellos en
cumplimiento de anhelo largamente acariciado.
Pablo
es una inspiración para inundar nuestros planes del evangelio. En ocasiones
nuestros planes son insípidos, carecen del sustento de la fe
¿Qué
planes tiene para el futuro? ¿Una carrera? ¿Un nuevo negocio? ¿Un viaje?
¿Matrimonio? ¿Servir a Dios? No deje a Dios a un lado en cada uno de sus
proyectos. Recuerde que cualquier cosa que usted haga debe estar marcado por el
servicio a un Dios fiel que siempre le sostiene.
Les
invitamos a leer en este día un texto bíblico inspirador: Santiago 4:13-15.
Nuestra
vida es incierta, no sabemos qué tiene el futuro para nosotros.. Pero ¡Gloria a
Dios! Sabemos que Él tiene el futuro en sus manos, y si Él quiere, prosperará
los planes que estén en armonía con su perfecta voluntad.

Te encomiendo Señor mis caminos. Confío en ti. Amén.
