REMEMBER JESUS
CHRIST
2 TIMOTHY 2:1-10

Whoever goes to Church looking for a museum of saints is
mistaken; rather he will find a clinic for sick people. We all have something
to improve.
Even as Christians, there are times when we want to abandon
everything. Although we are serving God and trying to walk with Him, we find
ourselves, at almost every moment, experiencing disappointments, frustrations
and failures. An inner voice says, “Why not quit?” But that’s not the answer
because the believer has been called to be faithful to the end.
Going to church, reading the Bible, prayer, and dependence
on the Holy Spirit must be a regular part of a Christian’s discipline. Then,
when you face pressures, when you feel frustrated, you will have enough
resources to resist. Let’s remember the words of the Apostle Paul to the
Corinthians, when he said, “Be firm and constant, always growing in the work of
the Lord.”
No matter what others say or do, I pursue the goal.
Prayer: Lord, we pray that we may always be prepared so that we do
not fail. Amen.

Quien vaya a la Iglesia
buscando un museo de santos, se equivoca; más bien encontrará un policlínico
para personas enfermas. Todas las personas tenemos algo que mejorar.
Aún siendo cristianos, en
ocasiones se siente la tentación de dejarlo todo. Aunque estemos sirviendo a
Dios y tratando de caminar con Él, nos encontramos casi a cada momento con
desengaños, frustraciones o fracasos. Una voz interna dice: ¿Por qué no lo
dejas? Pero ésta no es la respuesta, porque el creyente ha sido llamado a ser
fiel hasta el fin.
La asistencia a la
Iglesia, la lectura de la Biblia, la oración y la dependencia del Espíritu
Santo tienen que constituir una parte regular en la disciplina del cristiano.
Después, cuando uno afronte las presiones, cuando se sienta frustrado, tendrá
los suficientes recursos para resistir. Recordemos las palabras del apóstol
Pablo a los corintios cuando dijo: … Estad
firmes y constantes, creciendo en la obra del Señor siempre.
No importa lo que hagan
o digan los demás, yo prosigo al blanco.
Oración: Oramos Señor, porque siempre estemos preparados para
no fallar. Amén.
