CARPE DIEM
Psalm 118:24
Come to me, all you
that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens,
and I will give you

“Carpe
Diem” is an expression of the ancient Romans which really was only two words.
It means “Enjoy the day” or “Seize the day.”
Yes, seize the day and get the most out of it. Life is in constant
change, and the only thing certain is today. And why spoil the beauty of living
today by trying to resolve problems of a future that are hidden behind change
and uncertainty, a future that no matter how hard we try, we can neither see
nor predict?
I invite
you to always carry with you the perspective of this poem:
Salutation to the Dawn
Look at this day!
Because it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course
Are all the truths
And realities of your existence:
The blessing of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendor of relationships . . .
Because yesterday is only a dream
And tomorrow only a mission
But today well lived
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, then, at this day!
Such is the salutation to the dawn.

frase de los antiguos romanos que en realidad eran solo dos palabras.
Significan “Disfruta del día” “Toma el Día “. Sí, toma el día y sácale el
máximo provecho.
La vida es un cambio incesante. La única
certidumbre es el hoy. Y entonces ¿por qué echar a perder la belleza de vivir
hoy tratando de resolver los problemas del futuro que se oculta tras el cambio
y la incertidumbre, un futuro que por más esfuerzo que hagamos no podemos ni
ver, ni predecir?
Te invito a tener
siempre, a la vista este poema:
Salutación al alba
¡Mira este Día!
Porque es la vida, la
mismísima vida de la vida.
En su breve curso
Están todas las verdades
y realidades de tu
existencia:
La bendición del
desarrollo,
La gloria de la acción
