DAILY BLESSINGS
PSALM 121
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
Psalm 121:2 (NIV)
How great it would be if we all saw the light instead of the
shadows!
This helps me think about how wonderful life is. Sometimes we
forget the blessings we receive, and always think about the problems we face
every day.
We tend to remember illnesses, financial problems, and other
concerns. Many people spend the whole day talking about their problems and they
devote little time to recalling with thanks the blessings God has given them.
God is merciful and showers his blessings on us. Let us look
around us to see the blessed action of God in the beauty of a flower, in a
fruit-laden tree, in a child’s smile, and the rain that makes things grow.
Why do we insist on looking at the shadows? Let’s be positive,
optimistic, and above all let us be grateful to our great merciful God.
Look for the blessings, recognize them, and enjoy every one of
them.
Prayer: Teach us, Lord, to see your blessings every day. Amen

BENDICIONES DE CADA DÍA
SALMO 121
Mi ayuda vendrá del
Señor, creador del cielo y de la tierra.
Salmo 121:2
¡Qué bueno sería si todos viéramos la luz en vez de las
sombras!
Esto me ayuda a pensar acerca de lo maravillosa que es la
vida. A veces nos olvidamos de las bendiciones que recibimos y siempre pensamos
en las adversidades que día a día enfrentamos.
Somos dados a recordar enfermedades, problemas económicos
y otras preocupaciones. No son pocas las personas que pasan el día hablando de
sus problemas y dedican un tiempo mínimo a recordar con gratitud las
bendiciones que les ha dado Dios.
Dios es misericordioso y derrama sobre nosotros sus
bendiciones. Miremos a nuestro alrededor, descubramos la acción bendita de Dios
en la belleza de una flor, en un árbol con frutos también, en la sonrisa de un
niño, la lluvia que fertiliza la tierra.
¿Por qué insistimos en mirar las sombras? Seamos
positivos, optimistas y sobre todo seamos agradecidos a nuestro gran Dios de
misericordia.
Busca las bendiciones, reconócelas y disfruta cada una de
ellas.
Oración: Enséñanos Señor a ver
tus bendiciones cada día. Amén
