FAITHFULNESS
IN EVERYTHING
And
whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord
Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17

The huge bridges that carry so many people and cars are built with large
metal structures, but they are not immune to the effects of the environment, so
if they are not maintained and protected from the rain and the changes in
temperature they will be destroyed. The
interior of these structures is painted carefully by workers who, with their
important labor, protect them from rusting.
The majority of the thousands of people who cross daily over these
bridges are not even conscious that they depend on the dedicated labor of these
workers. But God does see our
faithfulness in the things that we do.
Although we think that our actions--large or small--at times go
unnoticed, the one who really needs to see them is observing. Whatever is our work for today, let us do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.
Prayer: We thank you Lord for teaching us to work for
the Kingdom of God anonymously but with joy, humility, and sincerity of
heart. Amen.

Y todo lo que hacéis, sea de palabra
o de hecho,
hacedlo todo en el nombre del Señor
Jesús
Los grandes
puentes que permiten el tránsito de tantas personas y automóviles están sujetos
de grandes estructuras de metal, pero éstas no son inmunes a los efectos
nocivos del medio ambiente, por tanto, si no reciben mantenimiento y protección
contra la lluvia y los cambios de temperatura se destruyen. El interior de
estas estructuras es pintado cuidadosamente por obreros que con su importante
labor las protegen para que no se oxiden.
La mayoría de las
miles de personas que cruzan diariamente por estos puentes ni siquiera son
conscientes de que dependen de la consagrada labor de estos obreros. Pero Dios
sí ve nuestra fidelidad en las cosas que hacemos.
Aunque pensemos
que nuestras acciones —grandes o pequeñas— algunas veces pasan inadvertidas,
quien realmente necesita verlo, está observando. Cualquiera que sea nuestra
labor hoy, hagámoslo todo en el nombre
del Señor Jesús
Oración: Gracias te damos Señor por enseñarnos a trabajar por el Reino
de Dios desde el anonimato pero con gozo, humildad y sinceridad de corazón. Amén.
