THOSE WHO HOPE IN GOD

ISAIAH  40: 28- 31

...

But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strengths.

They will soar on wings like eagles;

they will run and not grow weary;

they will walk and not be faint.  (NIV)

Isaiah 40:31

All around us we find pain, wailing, severity, conflicts, scarcity, and frustrations. The world is engulfed in depression. Even knowing God, at times we stumble and fall and lose the divine vision for our lives. Perhaps we’ve wanted to give up, but today God has come to our assistance and says to us that we should: Hope in Him. This is Trust: to know that his strength raises us above our difficulties; prepares us so that he may speak to us. Let us be patient and put our faith in the promises he has given us.

If we hope in him then we will enjoy the benefits that it brings: we will have new strengths. Even the strongest people tire, but the power and the strength of God never diminish but are renewed each morning.

They will be raised on wings like eagles is an expression that assures us the victory and shows us the secret to attain it. The potent flight of eagles is not derived from their strength, rather by their letting themselves be carried by air current, thus obtaining an advantageous position to sight what they want.

We are like eagles; we only need to extend our wings to God, and we will obtain strength from him. Perhaps today the violent winds of problems may be striking you but remember that your strength is in the God of life and hope. Hope in Him who is already acting; only spread your spiritual wings and permit yourself to be taken where God may want.

Prayer: Our Lord, may we have the necessary faith to resume the flight and enjoy your many blessings. Amen.

LOS QUE ESPERAN EN DIOS

ISAÍAS  40: 28- 31

...pero los que esperan en Jehová tendrán nuevas fuerzas; levantarán alas como águilas; correrán, y no se cansarán, caminarán, y no se fatigarán.

Isaías 40:31

A nuestro derredor encontramos dolor, llanto, rigor, conflictos, carencias, frustraciones. El mundo está sumergido en la depresión. Algunas veces, aun conociendo a Dios, tropezamos, caemos y perdemos la visión divina para nuestras vidas. Quizás hemos querido renunciar, pero hoy Dios ha venido a nuestro auxilio y nos dice que debemos: Esperar en Él: Esto es Confiar, saber que su fuerza nos levanta por encima de nuestras dificultades; nos prepara para que Él nos hable, seamos pacientes y depositemos nuestra fe en las promesas que nos ha dado.

Si esperamos en él, entonces disfrutaremos de los beneficios que ello trae: tendremos nuevas fuerzas. Aún las personas más fuertes se cansan, pero el poder y la fuerza de Dios nunca disminuyen, sino que serán renovados cada mañana. Levantarán alas como las águilas es una expresión que nos asegura la victoria y nos muestra el secreto para lograrlo. El vuelo potente de las águilas, no se basa en su fuerza, sino en dejarse arrastrar por la corriente de aire, obteniendo así una posición ventajosa para divisar lo que quieren.

Nosotros somos como águilas que sólo debemos extender nuestras alas a Dios y la fuerza la obtendremos de él. Puede que hoy los fuertes vientos de los problemas te estén golpeando, pero recuerda que tus fuerzas están en el Dios de la vida y la esperanza. Espera en Él, que ya está actuando, sólo extiende tus alas espirituales y déjate llevar a donde Dios quiera.

Oración: Señor nuestro, permite que podamos tener la fe necesaria para remontar el vuelo y disfrutar de tus múltiples bendiciones, amén.
