TO SEE GOD ALWAYS

ISAIAH 12:1-6

“He is the Lord,” Eli said.  “He will do as he pleases.”

1 Samuel 3:18 (CEB)

“See God in all things, and God will calm you and color all that you see.”  It could be that the circumstances of our troubles will continue, and our condition does not change; but if Christ, our Lord and Teacher of our life, intervenes in our pain and melancholy, He will surround us with liberating songs.

To see Him, and to be sure that his wisdom does not err, that his power does not fail, his love does not change; to know that even the hardest path with us is for our deepest spiritual gain, is to be able to say in the midst of dispossession, affliction, loss and pain: “The Lord has given and the Lord has taken away.  Blessed be the Name of the Lord.”

The only thing that can give us the patience to cope with everything that bothers us is to see God in all things.  Then these situations or people will be for us only instruments that we have used to fulfill his wise and delicate goals for us, and we will even find that internally we give God thanks for the blessings they have brought us.

Nothing else can completely bring an end to all of our rebellious and complaining thoughts. 

Prayer: God and Father, thank you for your presence always in us.  Let us sing psalms to you and be confident.  Amen.

VER A DIOS SIEMPRE

ISAÍAS 12:1-6

Jehová es; haga lo que bien le pareciere

1 Samuel 3:18

“Ve a Dios en todas las cosas, y Dios calmará y dará colorido a todo aquello que ves”.

Puede ser que continúen las circunstancias de nuestras aflicciones y que su condición no cambie; pero si Cristo, nuestro Señor y Maestro de nuestra vida, interviene en nuestra pena y melancolía, Él nos rodeará con canciones libertadoras.

El ver a Él, y estar seguro que su sabiduría no puede errar, que su poder no puede fracasar, su amor no puede cambiar; el saber que aún la forma más dura de proceder con nosotros es para nuestra ganancia espiritual más profunda, es poder decir en medio del despojo, la aflicción, la pérdida y el dolor, “El Señor lo dio y el Señor se lo ha llevado. Bendito sea el Nombre del Señor”.

Lo único que puede hacer que tengamos paciencia para con todo aquello que nos molesta y disgusta, es el ver a Dios en todas las cosas. Entonces estas situaciones o personas serán para nosotros solamente instrumentos que hemos de utilizar para cumplir sus sabios y delicados propósitos para con nosotros, y aún hallaremos que interiormente les daremos gracias por las bendiciones que nos han traído.

Ninguna otra cosa ha de poner fin completamente  a todos  nuestros pensamientos rebeldes y murmuradores.

Oración: Dios y Padre, gracias por tu presencia siempre en nosotros. Cantemos salmos a ti y estaremos seguros. Amén.
