LET US CULTIVATE OUR GIFTS

ROMANS 12:9-13

Because of this, I’m reminding you to revive God’s gift

that is in you through the laying on of hands.

2 Timothy 1:6 (CEB)

Everyone who cultivates the gifts that that are within fuels the fire whose spark was latent inside of him or her from the beginning.

To be a painter, you have to paint; to be a musician, you have to create music, to be a writer it is necessary to write.  Otherwise, how will we discover our talents that we have deep within us? When Jesus said, I must be about my Father’s business, he was developing the divine gifts that he had received.

Each individual has a space to fill, and this should be the space that God has assigned to him.  Lucky the one who is occupying the space that corresponds to him in the Lord’s vineyard. It does not matter how long it takes to reach the goal, but it is important not to waste time by neglecting the gifts received and not developed.    

There is no better treasure for the one who has attained success in God’s eyes than the trust that He will recognize one as a good and faithful servant. 

Prayer:  Lord, teach us to develop and care for the gifts that you have given us.  Amen.

CULTIVEMOS NUESTROS DONES

ROMANOS 12:9-13

Por lo cual te aconsejo que avives el fuego del don de Dios

que está en ti por la imposición de mis manos

2 Timoteo 1:6

Todo aquel que cultiva los dones que hay en él, aviva el fuego cuya chispa estaba latente en su interior desde el principio.

Para ser pintor, hay que pintar; para ser músico, hay que crear música; para ser escritor es necesario escribir. De otra forma ¿Cómo descubriremos los talentos que tenemos inertes en el fondo de nuestro ser?

Cuando Jesús dijo: En los negocios de mi Padre me conviene estar, desarrollaba los dones divinos que había recibido.

Cada individuo tiene un espacio que llenar, y éste debe ser el que Dios le ha asignado. Dichoso aquel que está ocupando el espacio que le corresponde en la viña del Señor.

Desde cierto punto de vista no importa el tiempo que se emplea en llegar a la meta, pero sí importa el tiempo que se pierda al descuidar los dones recibidos y no desarrollados.

No hay mayor tesoro para aquel que ha logrado éxito ante los ojos de Dios, que la confianza en que Él le reconocerá como buen siervo y fiel.

Oración: Señor, enséñanos a desarrollar y cuidar los dones que tú nos has regalado. Amén.
