PREPARED
FOR THE VISIT OF JESUS
LUKE 19:1-10
A
man there named Zacchaeus, a ruler among tax collectors, was rich.
He
was trying to see who Jesus was, but, being a short man, he could not because
of the crowd.

If we knew that today Jesus would
pass by our town or city, many people would run to see him. I am sure that they
would leave what they were doing and would come out for this encounter… but,
why in a situation like this and not in daily life?
Christians, by confession, must live
life as if Jesus were passing by today in front of our homes. This way we are able, with the testimony of
our lives, to have the authority to invite others to take a peek and see
him. At times our daily behavior is the
model that incites others to seek Jesus. The question could be: do my friends, family, neighbors, etc. see
Jesus in my life?
People want to see Jesus in your
life and in mine. In the way we treat
others, in the way that we manage difficulties, let us be more like Zaccheus in
our achievements, which show Jesus to them.
Prayer: Lord, help us to live as if Jesus were visiting our
home and our environment today. Help us
to show to all that the Lord lives in our hearts. Amen.

PREPARADOS PARA
LA VISITA DE JESÚS
LUCAS
19:1-10
Y sucedió que un varón llamado Zaqueo, que
era jefe de los publicanos y rico, procuraba ver quién era Jesús; pero no podía
a causa de la multitud, porque era pequeño
Lucas 19:2,3
Si
supiéramos que hoy Jesús pasaría por nuestro pueblo o ciudad también mucha
gente correría para verlo, seguro que dejarían lo que estuvieran haciendo y
saldrían a su encuentro....pero ¿ por qué en una situación así y no en el
diario vivir ?
Los
cristianos, por confesión, tenemos que vivir la vida como si Jesús estuviera
pasando hoy mismo por el frente de nuestros hogares de manera que podamos, con
el testimonio de nuestras vidas, tener la autoridad para invitar a otros a
asomarse ver aús. A veces nuestro comportamiento diario es el modelo que incitaría a otros a buscar a
Jesús pregunta podría ser: ¿ven mis amigos, familiares, vecinos, etc., Jesús en
mi vida?
La
gente quiere ver a Jesús en tu vida y en la mía. En la forma que tratemos a los
demás, en la forma que manejamos las difíciles, podemos hacer que muchos
Zaqueos en nuestras logren que les mostremos Jesús.
Oración: Señor ayúdanos a vivir
como si Jesús fuera a visitar nuestra casa y nuestro entorno hoy. Ayúdanos a
mostrarles a todos que el Señor habita encorazón. Amén.
