BETTER TIMES WILL COME
PSALM 103:3-5
….your youth is made fresh like an eagle’s.

Sometimes due to age or because we have known God for so long, we feel tired and exhausted, with the impression that we don’t have any more to give. Even in our work, family and church we can feel useless, as if we were exhausted of all our creativity and no longer have much to offer.
In some moments of our life usually we see ourselves as gray and aged, just like the Eagle that has to pass through a time of renovation in order to continue living another 30 or 40 years, and decides to go to a far mountain to pass through a time of pain. We also should try this type of brokenness if we want to arrive at fulfilling the purpose for which we were created.
If you are passing through a time of new changes and you believe that you don’t fit in them, maybe you should stop focusing on the past and project yourself toward what will come. Think of what you should detach yourself from in order to arrive at being the person that God wants to make of you. Free yourself from all your complaints, take your time to renew and let God restore your dreams. Until God says stop, you should continue fighting. Only God knows how long we will live, and while we have life, God wants to use us until the last minute of our life.
Prayer: Thank you God of life, for your purpose in me. Charge my soul and my body, Lord, so that you can do it in the best way. Amen.

A veces por la edad o porque hace varios años conocimos a Dios, nos sentimos cansados y agotados, con la impresión de que ya no tenemos nada más para dar. Incluso en nuestro trabajo, familia e iglesia nos sentimos poco útiles, como si hubiéramos agotado toda nuestra creatividad y ya no tuviéramos mucho que aportar.
En determinados momentos nuestra vida suele verse gris y envejecida, al igual que el águila que tiene que pasar por un tiempo de renovación para seguir viviendo otros 30 o 40 años más, y decide irse a una montaña lejana para pasar por un período de dolor. Nosotros también debemos experimentar este tipo de quebrantamiento si queremos llegar a cumplir el propósito con el cual fuimos creados.
Si estás pasando por un tiempo de cambios nuevos y crees que no encajas en ellos, tal vez debas dejar de enfocarte en el pasado y proyectarte a lo que viene. Piensa de lo que debes desprenderte para poder llegar a ser la persona que Dios quiere hacer de ti. Líbrate de todos tus complejos; toma tu tiempo de renovación y deja que Dios restaure tus sueños. Hasta que Él no dé un alto, tú debes continuar luchando. Sólo Dios sabe hasta cuándo viviremos, y mientras lo hagamos, Él quiere usarnos hasta el último minuto de vida.
Oración: Gracias Dios de la vida, por tu propósito en mí. Encárgate de mi alma y de mi cuerpo Señor, pues tú lo haces de la manera ideal. Amén.
