ACTION FILMS

Lamentations 5: 1-22

Those who pursue us are at our heels; we are weary and find no rest.

Lamentations 5: 5(NIV)

            I remember that in the film club classes at the University I learned that all the action films are characterized by PERSECUTION. By the way, they are the most sought after by the male sector. Our daily lives are qualified by both persecutors as well as the persecuted. Usually we pursue a goal that we do not always achieve, or we are persecuted for something well done that is for our benefit, or we can be persecuted for something poorly done. Life is a chase whether we like it or not. We live in constant action. However, for Christians absolutely nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus (Romans 8: 35; there is a long list in the text that includes persecution.)

            What a formula or antidote to fear nothing during our earthly existence!

            Brothers and sisters, we urge you to share these spiritual weapons with friends or strangers, because these inspirational messages are not found in the newspaper stalls or in libraries, state or private bookstores. This is food and medicine for the soul.

 

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank you for your holy Word that prepares and enables us to lead us in all persecution along the path that leads us to salvation. By Jesus. Amen.

PELÍCULAS DE ACCIÓN

Estamos sujetos a la persecución; nos fatigamos, no tenemos reposo"

            Recuerdo que en las clases en el Club de Cine, en la Universidad, aprendí que a todas las películas de acción las caracterizan LA PERSECUCIÓN. A propósito, son las de más demanda en el sector masculino. La vida la matizamos tanto perseguidores así como perseguidos en el diario vivir. Por lo general perseguimos un objetivo que no siempre alcanzamos, o nos persiguen por algo bien realizado que resulta para nuestro beneficio, o se nos puede perseguir por algo mal hecho. La vida es una persecución, queramos o no, vivimos en constante acción.

            Sin embargo, para los cristianos absolutamente nada nos puede separar del amor de Dios en Cristo Jesús (Romanos 8:35; hay en el texto una larga lista que incluye persecución). ¡Qué fórmula o antídoto, para no temerle a nada durante  nuestra existencia terrenal!

            Hermanos/as, les exhortamos a que compartan estas armas espirituales con amistades, o desconocidos, pues estos mensajes inspiracionales no se encuentran ni en los estanquillos  de periódicos, ni en las bibliotecas, librerías estatales o privadas. Esto es alimento y medicina al alma.

 

Oración: Padre Celestial, gracias por Tu Santa Palabra que nos prepara y capacita para que en toda persecución nos dirijas por el camino que nos conduce a la salvación. Por Jesús. Amén.
