No More Miracles

Luke 5:1-11

When they had brought their boats to shore, they left everything and followed him.

Luke 4:11 (NRSV)

Who still believes in miracles?

Jesus is no longer here. There are no more first disciples. We might think so, but . . . God is still there.

There will be no more miraculous catches, but God is still there. Every day the dawn reminds us of his power to give us life in the midst of problems, giving us hope when others despair.

Every day the sun appears like a miracle, and the flowers tells us we are miracles. We are simply born without asking for anything to put color and perfume in unexpected places. Jesus’ life itself is the proof of our God’s power; he became human to give us salvation and to make us brothers and sisters of all creation. Living in peace and harmony with all creation is the great gift–the Miracle of God.

We live a live in the assurance that God has control, God is still there.

 

Prayer: Thank you, Father, for all that you give us, and because every day we can see your miracles. Thank you God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Se acabaron losmilagros

Lucas 5:1-11

Y cuando trajeron a tierra sus barcas dejándolo todo, le siguieron.

¿Quién cree aún en los milagros?

Ya Jesús no está. Ya no están los primeros discipulos. Eso podriamos creer, pero... Dios sigue estando ahi.

No habrá más pesca milagrosa, pero Dios sigue estando ahi. Cada dia el amanecer nos recuerda su poder dándonos vida, en medio de los problemas, dándonos esperanza cuando otros desesperan.

Cada dia el sol aparece como milagro y las flores nos dicen, somos milagros. Nacemos sencillamente sin pedir nada para poner color y perfume en lugares inesperados. La vida misma de Jesús es la prueba del poder de nuestro Dios, se hizo hombre para darnos salvación, para hacernos hermanos y hermanas de toda la creación. Vivir en paz y armonia con todo lo creado es el gran Regalo – Milagro de Dios.

Vivamos una vida en seguridad de que Dios tiene el control, Dios sigue estando ahi.

 

Oración: Gracias Padre, por todo lo que nos das, y porque cada dia podemos ver tus milagros. Gracias Dios, Padre, Hijo y Espiritu Santo. Amén.
