CHANGE OF VENUE

Romans 5:12, 15:17-21

...But where sin increased, grace increased all the more,

Many times in the midst of life’s situations that come with their uncertainties, with their challenges, sometimes painful; in the midst of conflicts of war and violence that threaten the existence of all creation; in the midst of loss, in the environment of scarcity and daily needs; it seems that the grace of God is blurred on the horizon, that it is there no longer.

But it is enough to look at, and look for, the places where joy is able to overcome sorrow, where pain is transformed into strength, into courage that defends life; where love overcomes every obstacle and becomes present, where hate and fear cannot overcome the peace that comes from knowing that we are doing what is right; in order to understand that nothing, no act, no matter how barbaric, can compare with the grace of God. It is enough to change the place from where we look to see that God’s grace always abounds in our lives.

 

Prayer: Lord, cover us with your grace, fill our lives with the gift of your blessing. Amen

CAMBIAR DE LUGAR

Romanos 5:12, 15:17-21

... Pero allí donde abundó el pecado, sobreabundó la gracia.

Romanos 5:20

Muchas veces en medio de las situaciones de la vida que llega con sus incertidumbres, con sus desafios, en ocasiones dolorosos; en medio de los conflictos bélicos y violencias que amenazan la existencia de toda la creación; en medio de las pérdidas, en el entorno de carencias y necesidades cotidianas; pareciera que la gracia de Dios se desdibuja en el horizonte, que ya no está más.

Pero basta solo con mirar y rebuscar alli donde la alegria es capaz de sobreponerse a las penas, donde el dolor se transforma en fuerza, en valentia que defiende la vida; donde el amor supera cualquier escollo y se hace presente, donde el odio y el miedo no pueden contra la paz que nace de saberse haciendo lo justo; para comprender que nada, ningún acto por bárbaro que sea, puede compararse con la gracia de Dios. Basta con cambiar el lugar desde donde se mira para comprobar que la gracia de Dios sobreabunda en nuestras vidas siempre.

 

Oración: Señor cúbrenos con tu gracia, llena nuestras vidas con el don de tu bendición. Amén
