GOD ALL AROUND HIS
PEOPLE
PSALM 125
Those who trust in
the LORD are like Mount Zion,
which cannot be
moved, but abides forever.
Psalm 125:1
What is called Divine Providence is not synonymous with God
but is one of God’s activities providing for his creatures and for all of
Creation, the work of his hands. God supplies, God provides, God sustains, God cares
for his sons and daughters.
In God we will do even greater deeds than at present, but we
need to discover and use the spiritual and moral riches that God provides.
Across the years, the selfishness of many of his children
has caused hunger and insufferable shortages for many other Children of God.
Some people haven’t believed the message that God is God of all persons. They
have stored up for themselves to the detriment of others. They have said to
their soul, “eat, drink, be merry, for you have ample goods laid up for
yourself.”
God’s voice echoes in their consciences saying, “Fool, this
night your soul is demanded of you, and those goods you have accumulated, whose
will they be?”
Everyone must examine his conscience and have a genuine
encounter with God to discover his will: the good news for all of his creation.
Prayer: Thank you, Lord that you have made provision for your sons
and daughters. We place our trust in you, the giver of all good gifts.

DIOS ALREDEDOR DE
SU PUEBLO
SALMO 125
Los que confían en
Yahvé son como el monte de Sion, que no se mueve, sino que permanece para
siempre.
Salmo 125:1
La llamada Divina Providencia, no es un sinónimo de Dios,
sino una de las funciones de Dios al hacer provisión para sus criaturas y para
toda la Creación, obra de sus manos.
Dios suple, Dios provee, Dios sustenta, Dios cuida de sus
hijos e hijas.
En Dios haremos proezas aún mayores que las presentes.
Necesitamos descubrir y usar las riquezas espirituales y morales de la
provisión de Dios.
A través del tiempo, el egoísmo de muchos de sus hijos ha
provocado el hambre y la escasez insufribles a muchos otros Hijos de Dios.
Algunos seres humanos no han creído el mensaje de que Dios es Dios de todos y
todas. Han almacenado para sí, en detrimento de los demás. Han dicho a su alma:
“Come, bebe, huélgate, que muchos bienes tienes acumulados para ti”.
La voz de Dios resuena en las conciencias diciendo: “Insensato,
esta noche demandaran tu alma y los bienes acumulados: ¿de qué te servirán?”
Cada uno que examine su conciencia y que tenga un encuentro
genuino con Dios para descubrir su voluntad: la buena noticia para toda su
creación.
Oración: Gracias Señor, porque has hecho provisión para tus hijos e hijas. Confiamos en ti, dador de
toda buena dádiva. Amén.
