THE NEWS OF SALVATION

Luke 1:39-45

When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit and exclaimed with a loud cry, “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb.

Luke 1:41-42 (NRSV)

The presence of the Holy Spirit brings good news, news of life and great joy! This is how Elizabeth received the news of the coming of the Son of the Most High, Jesus Christ. And their insides trembled with such joy! For her part, Mary was the human being chosen to give shelter – with the greatest tenderness – to the best fruit of the Spirit: Jesus. She had a responsibility to care for and protect him; It would bring salvation to all mankind! When the Spirit of God comes into our lives, and envelops us with His pleasant and uplifting presence, we become trees ready to bloom and then share the fruits. fruits of goodwill. Only in this way can good things flow from within us, translated into blessings for others.

We have been called so that only love, hope, justice and a full life can be born within us. Without a doubt, this is great news. Let us joyfully receive the news of salvation! Christ is born for all things

 

Prayer: Spirit of God, thank you for bringing the good news into our lives. May we share in the good fruits that the birth of the new king brings. Bless us with your grace and healing! In the name of the holy being who will be born, Amen.

LA NOTICIA DE LA SALVACIÓN

Lucas 1:39-45

Y aconteció que cuando oyó Elisabet la salutación de Maria, la criatura saltó en su vientre; y Elisabet fue llena del Espiritu Santo, y exclamó a gran voz, y dao: Bendita tú entre las mujeres, y bendito el fruto de tu vientre.

Lucas 1:41-42

La presencia del Espiritu Santo trae consigo buenas noticias. ¡Noticias de vida y de gran gozo! Asi fue como Elisabet recibió la noticia de la llegada del Hijo el Alt isimo, Jesucristo. ¡Y se estremecieron sus entravas con tanta alegria! Por su parte, Maria fue el ser humano escogido para dar cobija -con la mayor de las ternuras- al mejor fruto del Espiritu: Jesús. Tenia la responsabilidad de cuidarlo y protegerlo; ¡traeria la salvación de toda la humanidad! Cuando el Espiritu de Dios llega a nuestras vidas, y nos envuelve con su presencia grata y edificante, nos convertimos en árboles prestos a florecer para luego compartir los frutos... frutos de buena voluntad. Solo asi de nuestro interior pueden brotar cosas buenas, traducidas en bendiciones para los demás.

Hemos sido llamados/as para que en nuestro interior solo se geste el amor, la esperanza, la justicia y la vida plena. Sin lugar a dudas es una gran noticia. ¡Recibamos con alegria la noticia de salvación! ¡Cristo nace para todos/as!

 

Oración: Espiritu de Dios, gracias por traer las buenas nuevas a nuestras vidas. Que podamos compartir los buenos frutos que trae el nacimiento del nivo rey. ¡Bendicenos con tu gracia y sanación! En el nombre del santo ser que nacerá, Amén.
