THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY

ACTS 4:12

 “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

John 14:6

Jesus doesn’t tell us that there is a way, but that he is the way, the only way to know God.

           

Perhaps you’d like to invent your own way to know God. The way each believer has met God is different because God comes to meet each of us in our particular situation. But it was God who selected the way through which we can go to him. That way is Jesus. The common ground for all believers, regardless of their birth, their culture, or their social station, is that they see Jesus as the Son of God, have found in him the meaning of life, and have believed and trusted in him for the forgiveness of all their failures.

The good news is for all–men and women–of whatever culture, nation, or social station. Even today, Jesus’ kindness toward us is limitless, as unending as God’s love. Jesus loves all human beings and each one individually.

Dear brother or sister, today aim to be the route by which others may find the way to God, through Jesus of Nazareth.

Prayer: Thank you, Jesus, for your kindness.  Thank you for showing us the way, the true way. May we show that way to so many who need it. Amen.

SOLO HAY UN CAMINO

HECHOS 4:12

 “Jesús le dijo: Yo soy el camino, la verdad y la vida;

nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí”

Juan 14:6

Jesús no nos dice que es un camino, sino que es el camino, el único camino para conocer a Dios.

Quizás a usted le gustaría inventar su propio camino para conocer a Dios. La manera en la cual cada creyente ha encontrado a Dios es diferente, pues Dios viene a nuestro encuentro según nuestras circunstancias. Pero fue Dios quien escogió el camino a través del cual podemos ir a él. Ese camino es Jesús. El punto común de la fe de todos los creyentes, sea cual sea su origen, su cultura o condición social, es que cada uno ve en Jesús  al Hijo de Dios, han encontrado en él el sentido para la vida,  y han creído y confiado en él para ser perdonados de  todas las faltas.

El evangelio es para todos, hombres y mujeres de cualquier cultura, país y condición social. Aun hoy, la bondad de Jesús por nosotros es ilimitada, es infinita como el amor de Dios. Jesús ama a todos los seres humanos y a cada uno en particular.

Querido hermano o hermana, en este día propóngase ser la vía por la cual otras personas encuentren el camino de Dios, a través de Jesús de Nazaret.

Oración: Gracias Jesús por tu bondad. Gracias por mostrarnos el camino, el verdadero camino. Que podamos mostrar este camino a tantos necesitados. Amén.
