MIRACLES THAT CURE COVID 19

Isaiah 46: 9-10

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, “my purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please. (NIV)

Isaiah 46:10

            The text exhibits what is known as the sovereignty of God. As one of the great reformers expressed: “The sovereignty of God is absolute; nothing occurs without his consent and his permissiveness, and everything that happens is within his will, as difficult as it seems to us.

            Searching the Internet for some miracle of protection against Covid 19, I found nothing, not even the most famous health centers can offer it. This brought to mind that our all powerful God is who is in control of everything, and has provisions for the weakest and most vulnerable.

            The miracle in this epidemic is in the call the Creator makes to his Steward: Humanity, so that it remembers that he has declared that he will never again destroy the planet. And evidently, those who have been deteriorating it rapidly in less than a century are the ones who have been charged with its care.

            Who causes disasters and death? Will we blame the one who warned us? There are times like these when “miracles of healing” do not work, as they are alerts from the Sovereign God.

 

Prayer: Blessed Lord, help us to love and have others love everything created by you to be part of your marvelous plans. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask. Amen.

MILAGROS QUE CURAN LA COVID 19

Isaias 46: 9-10

Yo anuncio el fin desde el principio; anuncio el futuro desde mucho antes. Yo digo: Mis planes se realizaran; Yo hare TODO lo que me propongo

Isaías 46:10

            El texto expone lo que se conoce como la Soberanía de Dios. Como expresó uno de los grandesreformadores: la soberanía de Dios es absoluta, nada ocurre sin su consentimiento y su permisividad, y todo lo que ocurre está dentro de su voluntad, por difícil que nos parezca.

            Buscando en Internet algún milagro de sanidad contra la COVID 19 no encontré nada; ni los má s famosos centros pueden ofrecerlo. Esto me trae a la mente que nuestro Dios Todopoderoso es quien está en control de todo y tiene provisiones para los mas débiles y vulnerables.

            El milagro en esta epidemia está en el llamado que hace el Creador a su mayordomo, la Humanidad, para que recuerde que Él ha declarado que nunca más destruiría el planeta, y evidentemente quien lo está deteriorando aceleradamente en menos de un siglo es quienes asignó a su cuidado. ¿Quien provoca los desastres y muertes? ¿Le echaremos la culpa al que nos advirtió? Hay momentos como estos en que los "milagros de sanidad" no funcionan, pues son alertas del Dios Soberano.

 

Oración: Bendito Señor, ayúdanos a amar y hacer que otros amen todo lo creado por Ti para ser parte de tus planes maravillosos. En el nombre de Jesucristo te lo pedimos. Amén.
