PUZZLE PIECES

1 Corinthians 12:4-25

Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. (NIV)

1 Corinthians 12:12

            As a puzzle fanatic, each time I assemble one I realize that every piece is key to completing the whole picture. A 200 piece puzzle, as well as 5,000 piece puzzles, contain pieces that attract us by their definite colors, facilitating their placement. Others are harder to place; some are difficult to place given their shades of the same color or similar shapes. So, whether it’s a matter of easy or hard to find pieces, all of them are equally important and need to be together to make the final picture.  

            In assembling puzzles, I recall the life and the gifts the Creator has given us. God has an objective and an intention for each one of us as well, and part of that intention is that we live in harmony with other believers. Just as the puzzle pieces come together to form the whole picture, we too can live in harmony, glorifying our God who has given us these gifts. Each of us is an important piece of the total picture. 

 

Prayer: Thank you, loving God, for the gift of life. Reveal your will to us in in a way that we may live in harmony with others, and thus glorifying you. Teach us to recognize our gifts. Amen.

PIEZAS DE ROMPECABEZAS

1ra Corintios 12:4-25

El cuerpo humano, aunque está formado por muchos miembros, es un solo cuerpo. Así tambiéén Cristo.

1 Co. 12:12

            Como fanática de los rompecabezas, cada vez que armo uno me doy cuenta de que cada pieza es clave para completar todo el cuadro. Tanto los rompecabezas de 200 piezas como los de 5000, contienen piezas que atraen por sus colores definidos, facilitando su acomodo. Otras se colocan con más dificultad. Hay piezas difíciles de colocar por tener matices del mismo color o formas similares entre sí. Ya sea que se trate de piezas fáciles o difíciles de encontrar, todas son igualmente importantes y necesitan estar unidas para formar el cuadro final.

            Ensamblar rompecabezas, me recuerda la vida y los dones que nuestro Creador nos ha concedido. Dios tiene un propósito y una intención para cada uno de nosotros también, y parte de esa intención es que vivamos en armonía con otros creyentes. Así como las piezas del rompecabezas se unen para formar el cuadro total, tambiéén nosotros podemos vivir en armonía, glorificando a nuestro Dios, quien nos ha dado estos dones. Cada uno de nosotros es una pieza importante del cuadro total.

 

Oración: Gracias, amado Dios, por el don de la vida. Revélanos tu voluntad de modo que vivamos en armonía con las demás personas y te glorifiquemos así. Enséñanos a identificar nuestros dones. Amén.
