OUR FAITH AS A LIVING TESTIMONY OF HIS LOVE FOR US

Luke 21: 12-19

And so you will bear testimony to me.(…) For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

Luke 21:15 (NIV)

Through this passage we can appreciate the trust Jesus has in us, but above all the trust He calls us to have in Him. He says that He will give us the words of wisdom that no one will be able to contradict. He will give us the strength and courage to be able to give testimony to His voice.

In order to be able to witness continuously, we must be faithful to our values as Christians. We must cultivate our faith and make it grow in spite of adversity.

We must fervently confirm what the Lord taught us. We must show proof of His immeasurable love for all. For as it says in Colossians 3:14: And over these virtues put on love, which binds them all together perfectly.

Prayer: Lord, give us your strength to be able to face all problems. May your voice never abandon us, guiding us along the path of good. May we know how to transmit the hope and love that you taught us. May our acts of faith speak louder than our words. Amen.

NUESTRA FE COMO TESTIMONIO VIVO DE SU AMOR POR NOSOTROS

Lucas 21: 12-19

Y esto os será ocasión para dar testimonio (…) Porque yo os daré palabras y sabiduría, la cual no podrán resistir ni contradecir todos los que se opongan

Lucas 21:15

Mediante este pasaje se puede apreciar la confianza que tiene Jesús en nosotros; pero sobre todo la confianza que nos llama a tener en Él. Dice que nos dará palabras de sabiduría a las que nadie podrán contradecir, nos dará la fuerza y la valentía para poder dar testimonio de su voz.

Para poder dar testimonio de forma continua, tenemos que ser fieles a nuestros valores como cristianos y cristianas. Tenemos que cultivar nuestra fe y hacer que crezca a pesar de las adversidades.

Hay que confirmar de forma ferviente aquello que el Señor nos enseñó. Hay que dar prueba de su amor inmensurable por todos y todas. Pues como dice en Colosenses 3:14: Por encima de todo, vístanse de amor, que es el vínculo perfecto.

Oración: Señor, danos tu fortaleza para poder hacer frente a todos los problemas. Que tu voz nunca nos abandone guiándonos por caminos de bien; que sepamos cómo transmitir esa esperanza y ese amor que tú nos enseñaste. Que nuestros actos de fe hablen más fuerte que nuestras palabras. Amén.

I FIND MY STRENGTH IN GOD. IN HIM, I CAN DO ALL THINGS

Revelation 2

Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer…

Revelation 2:10 (NIV)

During life, all of us as human beings go through difficulties and problems. What differentiates us from each other is how we face them. In this verse we are encouraged to have faith in Him; with His Word He shows us how to cultivate our faith. In His will, He guides us, calms us and comforts us. There is nothing we cannot face with Him beside us.

I once heard a sister in my church say, “God goes ahead of us guiding the way, and I go behind Him”. There is nothing truer than that, the certainty that He will give you strength and hope during difficult times. We as Christians must be attentive to His signs, in this way learning His message of peace and transmitting it to all who need it.

Prayer: God, keep us always in your company and under your guardianship. May your Spirit be eternally present in our midst. May your Word guide us along the paths of hope and joy. May your love strengthen and free us and may our faith in you grow. Amen.

Aniversario  de la IPR de Cabaiguán

ENCUENTRO MI FORTALEZA EN DIOS. EN ÉL TODO LO PUEDO

Apocalipsis 2

No temas en nada de lo que vas a padecer…

Apocalipsis 2:10

Durante la vida todos y todas como seres humanos pasamos por dificultades y problemas, lo que nos diferencia a unos de otros es cómo los afrontamos. En el versículo se nos anima a tener la confianza en Él, con su palabra nos muestra cómo cultivar nuestra fe. En su voluntad Él nos guía, nos calma y nos conforta. No hay nada que no podamos enfrentar con su compañía.

Una vez escuché en mi iglesia a una hermana decir: “Dios va delante guiando el camino y yo voy detrás de Él”. No hay nada más cierto que eso, la certeza de que Él te transmitirá fortaleza y esperanza en los tiempos difíciles. Nosotros y nosotras como cristianos debemos estar atentos a sus señales, aprendiendo así su mensaje de paz y transmitiéndolo a todo el que lo necesite.

Oración: Dios, tennos siempre en tu compañía y bajo tu guarda, que tu Espíritu esté presente eternamente en medio nuestro; que tu Palabra nos guíe por caminos de esperanza y alegría; que tu amor nos fortalezca y nos libere y que así crezca más nuestra fe en ti. Amén.

International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women

FULLY SURRENDER YOUR FAITH TO GOD

Luke 21:1-4

All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she out of her poverty put in all she had to live on.

Luke 21:4 (NIV)

This text establishes the difference between giving that which is left over and fully sharing all that we have. When Jesus says these words, he does not refer specifically to money. He is talking about going to God and giving ourselves to God completely. The question is: do we give ourselves completely to God and do we do it without expecting anything in return?

We must put everything in His hands: our gifts, our dreams, our hopes and desires; but at the same time everything that worries and bothers us. For He will appreciate all that we are, and He will help us to be better people. God will never care about how much we give, but rather our capacity and motivation to give and share what we have.

Prayer: Lord, we ask you today to make us better people, not only with others, but also with ourselves so that we realize all that we have within us to share. For it was you, Lord, who taught us to love our neighbor as ourselves. Amen.

Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra las Mujeres

ENTREGA TU FE A DIOS CON PLENITUD

Lucas 21:1-4

…Porque todos aquéllos echaron para las ofrendas de Dios de lo que les sobra; más esta, de su pobreza echó todo el sustento que tenía.

Lucas 21:4

En el texto se establece la diferencia entre entregar aquello que nos sobra y compartir plenamente todo aquello que tenemos. Cuando Jesús dice estas palabras no se refiere al dinero en específico, él habla de ir y entregarnos a Dios completamente. La pregunta es: ¿nos entregamos a Dios por completo? ¿Lo hacemos sin esperar nada a cambio?

Tenemos que poner en sus manos todo: nuestros dones, sueños, anhelos y esperanzas; pero a su vez todo aquello que nos preocupa y molesta; pues él sabrá apreciar todo lo que somos y nos ayudará a ser mejores personas. A Dios nunca le importará cuanto damos sino nuestra capacidad y motivación para dar y compartir aquello que tenemos.

Oración: Señor, te pedimos hoy que nos hagas ser mejor personas, no solo con los demás, sino también con nosotros mismos para poder darnos cuenta de todo aquello que tenemos dentro para compartir; pues fuiste tú, Señor, quien nos enseñó a amar a nuestro prójimo como a nosotros mismos. Amén.
