WITH JESUS, WE ARE MORE THAN WINNERS.

John 16:27- 33

In the world you face persecution, but take courage: I have conquered the world!

John 16:33

The circumstances we face today are very difficult and frustrating for those of us who have little income. Every day we have to deal with various challenges that we sometimes just can’t resolve.

Reflecting on the biblical text, Jesus warns us that we, as Christians, will also face difficulties, sorrows, worries, and illnesses which weigh heavily on our lives.

But He also urges us to trust in Him. Jesus has overcome the world, and when we stand with Him, trusting in His divine promise, we are more than winners or conquerors–because He fights for us, protects us with the greatness of His wisdom, His power, and His peace that surpasses all understanding–peace the world cannot comprehend, even in the midst of storm and chaos.

In this turbulent and stressful world, we Christians find peace, because we can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens us.

We are more than conquerors because He has overcome the world.

Prayer: Lord, grant us Your peace and love to overcome the world now and always. Amen.

CON JESÚS SOMOS MÁS QUE VENCEDORES.

Juan 16:27- 33

En el mundo tendréis aflicción, pero confiad, yo he vencido al mundo.

Juan 16:33

La situación que vivimos hoy se hace muy difícil y frustrante para las personas de bajos ingresos. Todos los días tenemos que enfrentar disímiles situaciones que a veces no podemos resolver.

Reflexionando en el texto bíblico Jesús nos advierte que nosotros como cristianos también vamos a tener dificultades, tristezas preocupaciones, enfermedades que agobian la existencia.

Pero también nos exhorta a que confiemos en Él.  Jesús ha vencido al mundo y cuando estamos junto a Él confiando en su promesa divina somos más que vencedores, porque Él pelea por nosotros, nos protege con la grandeza de su sabiduría, su poder y su paz que sobrepasa todo entendimiento, que el mundo no comprende como en medio de la tormenta y el caos tenemos paz.

En este mundo convulso y estresante los cristianos encontramos paz, porque todo lo podemos en Cristo Jesús que nos fortalece.

Somos más que vencedores porque Él ha vencido al mundo.

Oración: Señor danos tu paz y amor para vencer al mundo ahora y siempre. Amén.

ARE YOU A DISCIPLE OF JESÚS?

Matthew 28:16-20

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.

Matthew 28:19

The phrase “Go and make disciples of all nations” expresses a command, a mandate. What a beautiful mandate it is to be part of Jesus’ discipleship!

To be a disciple is to follow the way of life taught by Him; it is to learn and follow in His footsteps without looking back; it is to act in commitment to Jesus, to serve with humility, and to do God’s will. It is to love one another and to be willing to give our lives to follow His teachings.

To be disciples of Jesus is to risk being rejected by the world. It is sacrifice! It is working selflessly and being willing to leave everything behind to follow Him and build His Glorious Kingdom.

To be a disciple of Jesus is to love Him and obey Him to the very end.

Do you consider yourself a disciple of Jesus?

Prayer: Lord, in every step I take, I want to be Your disciple now and always. Amen.

¿ERES DISCÍPULO DE JESÚS?

Mateo 28:16-20

Por tanto, Id y hacer discípulos a todas las naciones.

Mateo 28:19

La expresión Id y hacer discípulos a todas las naciones indica una orden, un mandato. ¡Qué hermoso mandato formar parte del discipulado de Jesús!

Ser discípulos, es seguir la manera de vivir enseñado por Él, es aprender, seguir sus huellas sin mirar atrás; es actuar en compromiso con Jesús, es servir con humildad y hacer la voluntad de Dios. Es amarnos unos a otros; y estar dispuestos a dar la vida por seguir sus enseñanzas.

Ser discípulos de Jesús es correr el riesgo de ser rechazados por el mundo. ¡Es sacrificio! Trabajar con abnegación y estar dispuestos a dejarlo todo para ir en pos de Él y de la edificación de su Reino Glorioso.

Ser un discípulo de Jesús es amarlo y obedecerle hasta las últimas consecuencias.

¿Te consideras discípulo de Jesús?

Oración: Señor en cada paso que doy quiero ser discípulo tuyo ahora y siempre. Amen.

 FAITH FEEDS THE SPIRIT

John 16:23-28

Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.

John 16:24 (NIV)

As I reflect upon the biblical text, it occurs to me that when asking God for something, we must possess faith and be certain that he will grant our request, in accordance with his will. But what does it truly mean to have faith?

Faith is trust. It is believing even without having seen; it is the assurance, the certainty that what has been requested will be fulfilled in due time.

I recently experienced this beautiful reality and received a confirmation that when we ask with faith, God fulfills his promise. I urgently needed to buy groceries for that day, yet I had no money. That morning I prayed and asked him to provide for my needs. The day passed, and nothing happened. As night fell, I felt a wave of sadness. With tears in my eyes, I prayed again, this time with great fervor, confident that God never abandons his children. I wept, but my sorrow soon turned to joy, for God fulfilled his promise and provided exactly what I needed in that very moment.

His presence manifested in my life, bearing witness to his love, his greatness, and his power, a power revealed to all those who seek him with faith.

Prayer: Lord, strengthen my faith and my spirit, now and always. Amen.

LA FE ALIMENTA EL ESPÍRITU

Juan 16:23-28

Pedid y recibiréis para que vuestro gozo sea cumplido

Juan 16:24

Al reflexionar el texto bíblico viene a mí mente que para pedir algo a Dios, debemos tener fe y estar seguros de que Él nos dará lo pedido, según sea su voluntad. Pero, ¿Qué es tener fe?...

La fe es confianza. Es creer, aunque no hayas visto, es la seguridad de saber que lo pedido será cumplido a su tiempo.

Recién viví esa hermosa experiencia y confirmación que cuando pedimos con fe, Dios cumple su promesa. Necesitaba comprar con urgencia alimentos para ese día, no tenía dinero. En la mañana ore y le pedí que supliera mis necesidades. Transcurrió el día y nada sucedió, vi llegar la noche sentí tristeza, con lágrimas en los ojos volví a orar con vehemencia, confiada de que Dios nunca deja desamparados a sus hijos. Lloré, pero mí tristeza se convirtió en gozo porque Dios cumplió de darme lo que necesitaba en ese momento.

Su presencia se manifestó en mi vida para dar testimonio de su amor, grandeza y poder en aquellos que lo buscamos con fe.

Oración:  Señor, fortalece mí fe y mi espíritu, ahora y siempre. Amén.
