THURSDAY, DECEMBER 28th

I WILL ALWAYS GIVE TESTIMONY TO MY GOD

Luke 2: 36-40

There is nothing stronger than the testimony of those who truly show their faith in Jesus Christ in their lives. It’s not about just talking about God, but also about giving testimony in every moment, feeling the need to tell everything that God does in our lives and in the same way putting it into practice, through our actions.

Giving thanks to God, is to relive every blessing that we receive from Him, to share them with others, to give the opportunity for others to experience the joy of feeling blessed by God as well. Perhaps today, we can make a list of all the things for which to give thanks to God and share it with the people close to us, as a testimony of faith. The gratitude makes our Spirit grow and opens doors for many people to also value and be thankful for what God puts in their lives. Let us never stop telling the wonders of our God in all moments and places.

 

Prayer: Thank you, Lord, for your many blessings in our lives. May our hearts be more thankful every moment, and may we express our gratitude to you always and in all places. Amen.

JUEVES, 28 DE DICIEMBRE

SIEMPRE DARÉ TESTIMONIO DE MI DIOS

Lucas 2: 36-40

No hay nada más fuerte que el testimonio de quienes verdaderamente muestran con su vida la fe en Jesucristo. No se trata solo de hablar sobre Dios, se trata de dar testimonio en todo momento, sentir la necesidad de contar todo lo que hace Dios en nuestras vidas y de la misma forma ponerlo en práctica, a través de nuestras acciones.

Dar gracias a Dios, es volver a vivir cada bendición que recibimos de Él, compartirlas con otras personas, es dar la oportunidad de que otras y otros puedan experimentar la alegria de sentirse bendecidos y bendecidas también por Dios. Quizás hoy, podemos hacer una lista de todas las cosas por las cuales dar gracia a Dios y compartirla con las personas cercanas, como testimonio de fe. La gratitud hace crecer nuestro Espiritu y abre puertas para que muchas personas también valoren y agradezcan lo que Dios pone en sus vidas. No dejemos nunca de contar las maravillas de nuestro Dios en todo momento y lugar.

 

Oración : Gracias Señor, por tus muchas bendiciones en nuestras vidas. Permite que nuestros corazones sean más agradecidos en cada momento, y que podamos expresar nuestra gratitud a ti en todo tiempo y lugar. Amén.

 

WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 27th

LET US ALWAYS BE LIGHT

John 1:1-5

In him was life, and that life was the light of mankind.

John 1:4 (NIV)

To have faith in Jesus Christ is to have the certainty of having a God of light, capable of prevailing amid darkness. Therefore, the call to be the light of the world is the responsibility to always shine in the midst of darkness.

 Light can illuminate, guide, welcome and warm the lives of many people who today feel in darkness, because of suffering, internal conflicts, loneliness, lack of faith, hopelessness and many other situations that prevent them from having fullness of life.

 In the same manner Jesus is the light of the world for the Christian people, let us also be a light for those around us. We invite you today to illuminate someone’s life with a gesture of love, kindness, or empathy, so that they may feel the presence of God, in whom we believe, through our actions.

 Prayer: Thank you, God of light, for being the one who enlightens us and shows us the path to follow. May we too become a light for those who are in darkness. Amen.

MIÉRCOLES, 27 DE DICIEMBRE

SEAMOS SIEMPRE LUZ

Juan 1:1-5

En él estaba la vida, y la vida era la luz de los hombres.

Juan 1:4

Tener fe en Jesucristo, es tener la certeza de tener un Dios de luz, capaz de prevalecer en medio de las tinieblas. Por lo cual el llamado a ser luz del mundo, es la responsabilidad de siempre brillar en medio de las tinieblas.

La luz puede iluminar, guiar, acoger, calentar, la vida de muchas personas que hoy se sienten en tinieblas, por sufrimientos, conflictos internos, soledad, falta de fe, desesperanza, y muchas otras situaciones que les impide tener plenitud de vida.

De la misma manera que para el pueblo cristiano, Jesús es la luz del mundo, seamos también nosotros y nosotras, luz para quienes nos rodean. Les invitamos hoy a iluminar la vida de alguien con un gesto de amor, de bondad, de empatía, de forma tal que puedan sentir la presencia del Dios en el cual creemos, a través de nuestros actos.

Oración: Gracias Dios de la luz, por ser quien nos ilumina y muestra el camino a seguir. Permite que podamos nosotros también convertirnos en luz para aquellos que se encuentran en tinieblas. Amén.

TUESDAY, DECEMBER 26th

LET US NEVER ABANDON THE PATH OF GOOD

Acts 6:8-10

Now Stephen, a man full of God’s grace and power, performed great wonders and signs among the people.

Acts 6:8 (NIV)

 

Many times, we suffer the incomprehension of those who cannot understand that we dedicate our time to help, to serve those in need, to community service.

 

Frequently we hear things like: “with how difficult this life is, I don’t know how you waste your time on others” or “concentrate on yourself, in the end, no one appreciates anything”. We are always going to find detractors to our good practices, and it depends a lot on our spiritual strength, on the conviction of our principles and on the power of our faith, not to succumb to this.

 

When we believe in what we do, when we are sure of our Christian vocation, when we know that what we do for the good of others is the answer to God’s call, no matter the obstacles, the impediments placed by others or the criticisms and accusations, we are sure of the path we have chosen and the life proposal we want to follow.

 

May God grant that we may always be able to perform great wonders and signs before our people, who need them so much.

 

Prayer: Lord, never extinguish in us the desire to serve you, and to serve those around us. Amen.

MARTES, 26 DE DICIEMBRE

NUNCA ABANDONEMOS EL CAMINO DEL BIEN

Hechos 6:8-10

Pero Esteban, lleno de gracia y de potencia, hacia prodigios y milagros grandes en el pueblo.

Muchas veces, sufrimos la incomprensión de quienes no logran entender que dediquemos nuestro tiempo a ayudar, a servir a quienes lo necesitan, al servicio comunitario.

 

Es frecuente escuchar frases como: “con lo dificil que está la vida, no sé cómo pierdes el tiempo en los demás” o, “ded icate a ti, que al final, nadie agradece nada”“. Siempre vamos a encontrar detractores a nuestras prácticas de bien, y depende mucho de nuestra fortaleza espiritual, de la convicción de nuestros principios, del poder de nuestra fe, no sucumbir frente a esto.

 

Cuando creemos en lo que hacemos, cuando tenemos la seguridad de nuestra vocación cristiana, cuando sabemos que lo que hagamos por el bien de otras y otras es la respuesta al llamado de Dios, no importan los obstáculos, los impedimentos que pongan otras personas o las criticas y acusaciones, pues tenemos la seguridad del camino que hemos elegido y la propuesta de vida que queremos seguir.

 

Que Dios permita que siempre podamos hacer grandes prodigios y señales frente a nuestro pueblo, que tanto lo necesita.

 

Oración: Señor, no apagues nunca en nosotros el deseo de servirte, y servir a los que nos rodean. Amén.
