I WILL PUT YOU IN CHARGE OF MUCH… IF YOU ARE FAITHFUL
Luke 16:9-15
“Whoever is faithful in a very little is faithful also in much,
Luke 16:10ª (NRSV)
Being faithful to something or someone shapes the way we live, the way we relate to others, and the way we view the world. Our faithfulness to God is not, or should not be, blind loyalty to a plan; rather, it means that we have found meanings that enrich our lives.
That is why this promise we find in the text, “I will place you over much,” is not an offer of a privilege; it is the confirmation of what we can achieve when we choose the right path. Being faithful to justice, dignity, respect, and love for fellow human beings, being faithful to the ethical principles of the Gospel, to goodness, service, and compassion, will inevitably lead us toward a fuller, more fulfilling life, and that is where lies “the abundance” we can have, “the abundance” we can do, and “the abundance” we can offer. When our faithfulness makes us people of good, God gives us the opportunity to reach places, spaces, and lives that can be transformed so that we may continue to do good.
Prayer: God, may your faithfulness inspire me and enable me to live in accordance with what you expect of me. Amen

SOBRE MUCHO TE PONDRÉ… SI ERES FIEL
LUCAS 16:9-15
