THE LOVING Gaze OF GOD
PSALM 25:16-21
Turn to me and be
gracious to me, for I am lonely and afflicted
Psalm 25:16
Saint John of the Cross speaks of "the loving gaze of
God". It cannot be anything else because God is love. God's gaze is always
merciful and full of affection. The source of our joy is as constant as the
gaze of God.
If there are so many problems that they give you a headache
and you feel like your life is hanging by a thread, you feel that your skin is
wrinkled and that you are getting old, that you have lost the strength to
continue the struggle ... Stop!
Meditate on the beautiful things that God has given you; in
the beings you love and who love you, you will see that not everything is bad,
shake from yourself those negative thoughts and you will experience how your
darkest nights will light up for you, and you will understand that heaven opens
for those who decide to believe that God is our best ally in life's battles.
Feel the loving gaze of God in the middle of your loneliness
and affliction. Have a nice day!
Prayer: Lord, look at me and have mercy on me. Keep me in your loving gaze every day. Amen

LA MIRADA AMOROSA DE DIOS
SALMO 25:16-21
Mírame y ten misericordia de mí, porque estoy solo y afligido
Salmo 25:16
San Juan de la Cruz, habla de “la mirada amorosa de
Dios”. No puede ser de otra manera, ya que Dios es amor. La mirada de Dios es
siempre misericordiosa y llena de cariño. La fuente de nuestra alegría es tan
constante como la mirada de Dios.
Si los problemas son tantos que te provocan dolor de
cabeza y sientes como que tu vida pende de un hilo, sientes que la piel se te
arruga y que envejeces, has perdido las fuerzas para seguir luchando… ¡Haz un alto!
Medita en las cosas bellas que Dios te ha regalado; en
los seres que amas y que te aman, verás que no todo es malo, sacude tu mente de
esos pensamientos negativos y experimentarás cómo tus noches más oscuras se te
iluminarán, y comprenderás que el cielo se abre para los que deciden creer que
Dios es nuestro mejor aliado en las batallas de la vida.
Siente la mirada amorosa de Dios en medio de tu soledad y
tu aflicción. ¡Que tengasbuen día!
Oración: Señor, mírame y ten
misericordia de mí. Acompá ñame con tu mirada amorosa cada día. Amén.
