 USE YOUR GIFTS
1 PETER 3:8-21
“It is better, if it is God’s will, to suffer for doing good than for doing evil.”

1 Peter 3:17

There is a place for you in this world.  There is a definite job or service that needs your talents and needs you, exactly as you are at moment.  Perhaps you will say: “I am very old; I can’t do anything at my age.”

It is the Lord who needs you.  He needs your hands, your voice, your senses and your abilities.  Your senses are needed to continue the work that Jesus began, and which can only be completed through us. No one other than you can perform this job, and there is a special job for each person, without exception.

Ask God to guide you to that place where you can employ your gifts.  In the meantime, do what you have in front of you to do, and give it your best.  If you are faithful in these small things, the place of service will be chosen for you and you will be blessed.  You will be able to use your talents and to accomplish good works.

Prayer: Lord, enable us to find the best place to serve others. Amen.

USA TUS DONES

1 PEDRO 3:8-21

“Porque mejor es que padezcáis haciendo el bien,

si la voluntad de Dios así lo quiere,

que haciendo el mal”

Hay un lugar para ti en este mundo. Hay un trabajo o servicio definitivo que necesita tus talentos y te necesita a ti, exactamente como eres en este momento. Quizás dirás: “Yo soy muy viejo, no puedo hacer nada a mi edad”.

El Señor es quien te necesita. Es Él quien necesita tus manos, tu voz, tus facultades y tus habilidades. Tus facultades son necesarias para continuar la obra que comenzó Jesús, y que sólo a través de nosotros se puede realizar. Nadie puede hacer este trabajo sino tú, y hay un trabajo especial para cada uno, sin excepción.

Pide a Dios que te guíe a aquel lugar donde puedas usar tus dones. Entre tanto, haz lo que tienes ante ti para hacer, y hazlo según tu mejor habilidad. Si eres leal a las pequeñas cosas, el lugar de servicio será elegido para ti y serás prosperado. Podrás usar tus talentos y hacer un buen trabajo.

Oración: Señor, permítenos encontrar  el mejor lugar para el servicio a nuestro prójimo. Amén.
