IN HIS KAIRÓS

ECCLESIASTES 3: 1-8

“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”

Ecclesiastes 3:1

Some time ago I was living under a lot of pressure, with the constant complaint that 24 hours were insufficient for everything that had to be done in one day. This dynamic led me into trying to do many things at the same time and too quickly.  But one day, when I was going to bed, I came across this verse that I am now proposing for our devotional meditation.  I understood then how right the preacher was when he tells us:  “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven.”

We need to live in the kairós of God.  We cannot stop fulfilling our responsibilities and our daily duties, but we must allow ourselves to be guided by his Spirit and to acknowledge that the Lord is the proprietor of time and that without his company we cannot do anything.

Therefore, whenever you begin tasks, put yourself in God’s hands and ask Him to give you wisdom to be able to live in his kairós. You will then see how everything flows and the anxiety of the modern world turns into peace, harmony and confidence before everything that you have to do in any single day.

Prayer: Help us, Lord, to economize our time in such a way that we can always understand that without you we could not move forward. Amen.

ECLESIASTÉS 3: 1-8

“Todo  tiene su tiempo, y todo lo que se quiere

debajo del cielo tiene su hora”

Eclesiastés 3:1

Hace algún tiempo vivía muy presionada, con la queja constante de  que 24 horas eran insuficientes para todo lo que tenía que  hacer en un día. Esta dinámica me iba llevando a una situación en la que trataba de hacer muchas cosas al mismo tiempo y con demasiada rapidez. Pero un día, al acostarme me encontré con este texto que les propongo para meditar. Comprendí entonces cuanta razón tiene el predicador cuando nos dice: “todo tiene su tiempo y todo lo que se quiere debajo del cielo tiene su hora”

Tenemos que vivir en el kairós de Dios. No podemos dejar de cumplir nuestras responsabilidades y deberes cotidianos, pero tenemos que dejarnos guiar por su Espíritu y reconocer que el Señor es el dueño del tiempo y sin su compañía nada podemos hacer.

Así que al comenzar cada tarea, póngase en las manos de Dios y pídale a Él que le dé sabiduría para poder vivir en su Kairós. Verá entonces como todo fluye y la ansiedad de la vida moderna se convertirá en paz, armonía y confianza ante todo lo que tiene que hacer en un día.

Oración: Ayúdanos Señor, a economizar el tiempo de manera tal que siempre podamos comprender que sin ti no podemos avanzar. Amén
