A HOPE WHICH WILL NOT DISAPPOINT US

ROMANS 5: 1-11

“And hope does not disappoint us, because God has poured out his love into our hearts by the Holy Spirit, whom he has given us.”
Romanos 5: 5
Paula, the book authored by Chilean writer Isabel Allende, had a great impact on me several years ago.  I was impressed that such a work of art could be written under such adverse conditions.  Paula, the author’s daughter, fell into a deep coma and while in that state her mother began to tell her stories about their family, their country, and their life with its joys and sorrows. In the midst of her despair, Isabel even found the strength to tell stories without the least assurance of being heard.  Returning her daughter to life, to this world, to her personal story through words was her only goal.  How many people in despair in this world are there who only curse their fate and complain about their situation?

If you are going through a strong crisis right now, you can feel all the power of God in order to keep moving forward.  You may not have the head or the ideas to write a book like Paula but you only need to seek God and he will show you how to keep moving forward, how to walk with faith, how to recover inspiration and hope.  Yes, there is One hope that does not disappoint us, but which reaffirms our steps and allows us to find that ray of light we need in order to continue creating, to keep growing, to keep singing…

Prayer: Merciful God, we give you many thanks, because in the midst of our sorrows, you lift us up and you allow us to wake up to your grace each morning. Help our children and strengthen our hope. Our hope is in you with much faith and trust.  Amen.

UNA ESPERANZA QUE NO NOS DEFRAUDA

ROMANOS 5: 1-11

Ayuda a nuestros hijos y fortalece nuestra esperanza.
