COME TO ME, ALL OF YOU

ACTS 2:36-40

“…Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins…”                                 

Acts 2:36 - 37

In our world today, a great many of the people who surround us are anxious to know God. In these times, many people approach us and ask us for Bibles and ask us about other issues relating to the life of the Church.  There is no doubt that we are living in difficult times, when we must preach the Word of God to all those who need it. Christ said: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest”; “There will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over a thousand righteous persons on earth…”

We should always be ready to open the doors to our Church, and to open our arms and our hearts to those who are seeking our Lord and who see their salvation in Him.  

Prayer: We beseech you, God, for one happy encounter with you; for a spiritual, comforting and certain peace.  Show us what we need to say to those who are burdened and weary, so that they can find rest in you and so that their strength can be renewed. Amen.

 VENID A MI TODOS

Hoy día, una gran parte de las personas que nos rodean están ansiosas de conocer a Dios. En estos tiempos, se nos acercan  muchas personas y nos piden Biblias y otras cuestiones relacionadas con la vida de la Iglesia. Es indudable que estamos viviendo tiempos difíciles, en los que se hace muy necesaria la predicación de la Palabra de Dios a todos aquellos que la necesitan. Cristo dijo: “Venid a mi todos los que estáis agobiados y cargados que yo os haré descansar”, “… hay más regocijo en el Reino de los Cielos por un pecador que se arrepiente, que por mil justos en la tierra”.

Siempre debemos de estar prestos a abrir nuestras puertas del Templo, de nuestros brazos y de nuestros corazones a aquellos que buscan de nuestro Señor y que ven en Él su salvación.

Oración: Por un encuentro feliz contigo  Dios, por una paz espiritual, confortable y segura, te pedimos intensamente. Revélanos lo que hemos de decir a aquellos que están cargados y cansados, para que puedan encontrar descanso en ti y puedan renovar sus fuerzas. Amén.
