HE WILL NEVER ARRIVE TOO LATE

1 JOHN 5:13-21

“And this is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.”

1 John 5:14

Many Christians are discouraged when they pray and feel that they do not receive a response from the Lord. And this is because we expect immediate results. We need to remember that the fruit of the Spirit is patience.  God waited patiently for years until some of us who were living without knowing Him, came to Him. And He still continues to overlook our weaknesses and rebelliousness, for which we should not complain.

Our faith grows through waiting with patience and our character is strengthened.

George Muller used to say:  “God may make us wait, but He will never arrive too late.”

The laborer labors all spring and all summer, month after month, even though he never immediately sees the harvest.  Nevertheless, when harvest time arrives, he realizes that the wait was worthwhile.  Let’s always remember that “God will never be too late!”

Prayer: Lord, help us to persevere in our prayers and to wait for you with patience.  Amen. 

 ÉL NUNCA LLEGARÁ DEMASIADO TARDE

1 JUAN 5:13-21

“Y esta es la confianza que tenemos en él, que si pedimos alguna cosa conforme  a su voluntad, él nos oye”

1 Juan 5:14

Muchos cristianos se desalientan cuando oran y sienten que no reciben respuesta del Señor. Y es que quisieran ver resultados de inmediato. Recordemos que el fruto del Espíritu es paciencia. Dios esperó pacientemente por años hasta que alguno de nosotros que vivíamos sin conocerle, viniéramos a Él. Y aún continúa sobrellevando pacientemente nuestras debilidades y rebeliones, por lo que no debiéramos quejarnos.

Nuestra fe crece a través de la paciente espera y nuestro carácter es fortalecido.

George Muller decía: “Puede que Dios nos haga esperar, pero Él nunca llegará demasiado tarde”

El labrador trabaja toda la primavera y todo el verano, mes tras mes, aunque nunca ve la cosecha inmediatamente; sin embargo, cuando llega la recogida, se da cuenta que valió la pena esperar. ¡Recordemos siempre que “Dios nunca llegará demasiado tarde”!

Oración: Señor, ayúdanos a ser perseverantes en la oración y esperar con paciencia en ti. Amén.
