SHINE IN THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE

Matthew 5:14-16

“We are walking in the light of God”

Isaiah 2:5

As a lamp needs to be connected to an electrical circuit to give light, we also should be in contact with a source of energy. The lamps didn’t choose the place where they were placed; the important thing is that they give light where they are.

In the moral camp, the believer illuminates in a world that prefers darkness, and this light is the brightness of life in Jesus. Everyone finds themselves in a context and in a determined place of work, under conditions that perhaps they may wish to change, but they’re not fortuitous. If God has placed me in a determined site, He knows why He did it, and expects that I will respond with goodness, humility, gentleness, joy, patience and abnegation. Perhaps those who do not read the word of God will be able to read it in my life.

The poet Eliseo Diego pointedly wrote, “It is not by chance that we are born in one site and not another, but to give testimony.” 

And so, what’s needed for that? That we remain connected to the source of divine energy. To radiate light is the reason for being for a Christian on earth. May we complete our vocation!

Prayer:  Light of the world, thank you for putting me in this place to radiate your admirable light.

BRILLA EN EL SITIO DONDE ESTÉS

Mateo 5:14-16

“Caminemos a la luz del Señor”

Isaías 2:5

Así como una lámpara debe de estar conectada a una red eléctrica para dar luz, nosotros también debemos estar en contacto con una fuente de energía. Las lámparas no escogieron el lugar donde fueron colocadas, lo importante es que alumbren ahí donde están.

En el campo moral, el creyente alumbra en un mundo que prefiere la oscuridad, y esta luz es el resplandor de la vida en Jesús. Cada uno se encuentra en un contexto y lugar de trabajo determinados, en condiciones que tal vez quisiera cambiar, pero que no son fortuitas. Si Dios me colocó en determinado sitio, Él sabe por qué lo hizo, y espera que yo le responda con bondad, humildad, dulzura, gozo, paciencia y abnegación. Que los que no lean la palabra de Dios, puedan leerla en mi vida.

El poeta Eliseo Diego escribió acertadamente: “No es por azar que nacemos en un sitio y no en otro, sino para dar testimonio”.

¿Y qué se necesita para ello? Pues que sigamos conectados a la fuente de energía divina.

Irradiar luz es la razón de ser del cristiano en la tierra ¡cumplamos con nuestra vocación!

  

Oración: Luz del mundo, gracias por colocarme en este lugar para irradiar tu luz admirable.
