TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD
Romans 10:9-18
“Faith comes from what is heard,
and what is heard comes from the Word of Christ.”

It’s
fundamental that everyone, each of us, continue losing the fear of showing
ourselves as Christians before others, since our way of living is the most
express form of making Christ present. Our life testimony is the first and most
important act of preaching. When Saint Francis of Assisi wished to preach, he
simply passed among the people with his disciples, and that was sufficient
motive for him to shout the Gospel to the world.
Today as well it’s necessary that each of us
behave like followers of Christ - at work, at school, in our neighborhood. With
time this will make our tongues looser and we will begin speaking more of Jesus.
Remember that Jesus himself said that our lips profess to that with which the
heart is filled. Give more space to Jesus in your life, and naturally he
himself will be more apparent through you and to others.
It suffices
for each of us to declare aloud that Jesus is the Lord, and to believe at heart
that God revived us from among the dead so that we might be saved. In effect,
one has to believe from the heart to reach holiness, and declare from the mouth
to attain salvation.
Prayer: Lord, I ask that I may be a faithful witness
that you live in me, and that upon seeing me, people may see You.

TIERRA

Es fundamental que todos y cada uno de nosotros,
vayamos perdiendo el miedo a mostrarnos como cristianos ante los demás, ya que
nuestra manera de vivir es la forma más expresa de hacer presente a Cristo.
Nuestro testimonio de vida es la primera y más importante predicación. Cuando
San Francisco de Asís quería predicar, simplemente se paseaba por el pueblo con
sus discípulos y esto bastaba para gritarle al mundo el Evangelio.
Hoy también es necesario que cada uno de nosotros, en
el trabajo, en la escuela, en el barrio, nos portemos como seguidores de
Jesucristo. Esto, con el tiempo, hará que también nuestra lengua se suelte y
empiece a hablar más de Jesús. Recordemos que Jesús mismo decía, que nuestros
labios hablan de lo que está lleno el corazón. Demos más espacio a Jesús en
nuestra vida y naturalmente él mismo se manifestará a través de nosotros a los
demás.
Basta que cada uno declare
con su boca que Jesús es el Señor y que crea en su corazón que Dios lo resucitó
de entre los muertos, para que pueda salvarse. En efecto, hay que creer con el
corazón para alcanzar la santidad y declarar con la boca para alcanzar la
salvación.
Oración: Señor, te pido que pueda yo ser un testigo fiel de
que tú vives en mí, y que la gente al verme pueda verte a Ti.
