Celebration of the “El Fuerte” Church (Cárdenas)
THE MOST IMPORTANT
COMMANDMENT.
MATTHEW 22: 34-40
Love your neighbor as yourself.
Matthew 22:39
Jesus teaches that there’s a higher law, a greater law: to love God.
More than sacrifices and offerings, He wants our love.
Let us love God with our whole life, heart, soul, mind, and strength.
God doesn’t want animal sacrifices, but rather the conscious and sincere devotion of human beings.
To love God means to obey Him. Obedience is proof of faithfulness and a demonstration of our love.
Loving God is demonstrated through our love for others:
Our neighbor is the hungry, the abused, the vulnerable, the sorrowful, and the homeless.
The two commandments are, in essence, one. They must always go hand in hand.
Prayer: Lord, allow us to be open channels so that nothing can hinder the flow of Your love through us. Amen.

EL MANDAMIENTO MÁS IMPORTANTE.
MATEO 22: 34-40
Ama a tu semejante cómo te amas a ti mismo.
Mateo 22:39
Amar a Dios significa obedecerle.
