THOSE WHOSE HOPE IS IN GOD

ISAIAH 40: 28-31

...Those who wait for the Lord will renew their strength.

Isaiah 40:31a

Pain, weeping, desperation, conflicts, scarcity, and frustrations are everywhere about us. The world is sunk in depression; many, even knowing God, stumble, fall, and lose sight of the Lord’s vision for our lives. Perhaps we are even tempted to renounce our faith. But today God has come to our aid and tells us we should have hope in Him. This implies trust, to know that his strength will lift us above our confusion and difficulties. He is preparing us so that He may speak to us.

Be patient and put your faith in the promises he has given us. If we believe in Him his strength will guide us. Even the strongest eventually tire and become exhausted, but God’s power and strength never wanes or diminishes, rather they’re constantly renewing themselves. They will be raised on wings like eagles is an expression assuring us victory, and it shows us the secret to achieve it. The eagles’ powerful flight doesn’t depend on themselves alone, rather in their letting themselves be swept along on air currents, thus attaining an advantageous position to detect what they’re seeking. We’re also like eagles, and only need to extend our wings to God, and then we will obtain his strength and power. You will run and not tire; walk without fatigue, means we will advance without tiring, without losing strength, because God is our refuge and strength.

Perhaps today the devastating winds of obstacles are assailing us; but remember that your substance is in God almighty. Hope in Him: See, it’s already in you, just spread your wings and let yourself be taken where God pleases.

Prayer:  Lord, give us the faith needed to ascend in flight and enjoy your many blessings. Amen.

LOS QUE ESPERAN EN DIOS

ISAÍAS  40: 28-31

...pero los que confían en el Señor recobran las fuerzas

Isaías 40:31a

A nuestro derredor encontramos dolor, llanto, desesperación,  conflictos, carencias, frustraciones. El mundo está sumergido en la depresión; muchos aun conociendo a Dios tropezamos, caemos y perdemos la visión del Señor para nuestras vidas. Quizás hemos querido renunciar, pero hoy Dios ha venido a nuestro auxilio y nos dice que debemos esperar en Él: esto es confiar, saber que su fuerza nos levanta por encima de nuestras confusiones y dificultades; nos prepara para que Él nos hable. Seamos pacientes y depositemos nuestra fe en las promesas que nos ha dado. Si esperamos en Él, su fuerza nos acompañará. Aún las personas más fuertes se llegan a cansar, agotar, pero el poder y la fuerza de Dios nunca decaen o disminuyen, sino que se renovarán. Levantarán alas como las águilas es una expresión que nos asegura la victoria y nos muestra el secreto para lograrlo. El vuelo potente de las águilas, no se basa en ellas mismas, sino en dejarse arrastrar por la corriente de aire, obteniendo así una posición ventajosa para divisar lo que quieren. Nosotros somos como águilas que sólo debemos extender nuestras alas a Dios y  la fuerza y el poder lo obtendremos de él. Correrán y no se cansarán, caminaran y no se fatigaran, significa que podremos avanzar sin extenuarnos, sin perder las fuerzas, porque Dios es nuestro amparo y fortaleza.

Puede que hoy los vientos desbastadores de los problemas te estén golpeando, pero recuerda que tus fuerzas están en el Dios todopoderoso. Espera en Él, que ya está actuando, sólo extiende tus alas y déjate llevar a donde Dios quiera.

Oración: Señor  nuestro, permite que podamos tener la fe necesaria para remontar el vuelo y disfrutar de tus múltiples bendiciones, amén.
