THE ONLY POSSIBLE WAY
JAMES 3:13-18
And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.
James 3:18
In a world ever more egotistic, problematic and
indifferent, where wars, conflict, globalization, and all manner of crises occupy
front page status in the media and throughout society, it falls to the church
to bring awareness and to prophetically speak out, answering dysfunction with
proposals of peace to the world, to be a place where dialogue, communication,
and constructive debate are stimulated. The family as an agent of change and
transformation should inculcate positive values and behavior in children in
such a way that they don’t become masters of injustice and violence.
“The fruit of justice is sown in peace…” today’s text proclaims. Be inspired by this biblical proposal, taking
it as a point of reference and departure to lead the youngest among us to
emotionally secure and loving paths.
May we offer fruits of peace the only way
possible: by making peace.
Prayer: God of love, illuminate our lives so we can
radiate abundance, peace, and love wherever we may be and in all we may do. May
we be faithful testimony of all the values of your Kingdom of justice. Amen.

LA ÚNICA MANERA POSIBLE
SANTIAGO 3:13-18
El fruto de justicia se
siembra en paz,
para aquellos que hacen la
paz.
Santiago 3:18
En un mundo cada vez más
egoísta, problemático e indiferente, donde las guerras, los conflictos, la globalización, y crisis de
todo tipo ocupan los primeros espacios en los medios de difusión y en toda la
sociedad, corresponde como iglesia sensibilizarse y pronunciarse proféticamente, devolviendo al
mundo propuestas de paz, donde se estimule al diálogo, la comunicación, el
debate constructivo. La familia como
agente de cambio y transformación debe
inculcar valores y comportamientos positivos en niñas y niños de modo
que ellos no reproduzcan patrones de
injusticia y violencia.
“El fruto de justicia se
siembra en paz…”, nos dice el texto hoy, inspirémonos en esta propuesta
bíblica, tomándola como punto de referencia y partida para conducir a los más
jóvenes por sendas de seguridad emocional y amor, desde nuestro testimonio
diario.
Ofrezcamos frutos de paz de
la única manera que es posible, haciendo la paz.
Oración: Dios de amor, ilumina nuestras vidas para que
podamos irradiar en cualquier sitio que estemos, en todo lo que hagamos,
plenitud, paz y amor. Que seamos fiel testimonio de los valores de tu Reino de
justicia. Amén
