THOSE JUSTIFIED BY FAITH WILL LIVE

     

       ROMANS 3:21-31

                                         For we hold that a person is justified by faith,

                                                apart from works prescribed by law.

Romans 3:28

Grace is the gift the Lord bestows us through faith, leading us to the path of salvation. Our search for human perfection is often marred by many errors. For example, when we think ourselves better than others, we consider ourselves perfect and criticize that which we dislike, or simply that which isn’t according to our way of living the faith.

We also believe that only the act of helping others and performing good works will earn us salvation. Through our repentance God calls us to reconciliation with Him and all others; he permits us to humbly and obediently admit our errors and calls us to live harmoniously, always recognizing that our human failures have consequences for others.

To achieve this interior and spiritual progress we should be conscious that we will only obtain it by following in his footsteps, being stalwart in our faith and through unmerited grace.

Prayer:  God of mercy and power, grant us your grace, today and always. May our faith in you lift, renew, and constantly transform us through Jesus Christ who showed us the way to salvation. Amen.

EL JUSTO POR LA FE VIVIRÁ

ROMANOS 3:21-31

Así llegamos a esta conclusión: que Dios hace justo al hombre por la fe, independientemente del cumplimiento de la ley.

Romanos 3:28

La gracia es el regalo que El Señor nos hace por medio de la Fe y nos conduce a los caminos de la salvación. Nuestra búsqueda de la perfección humana nos hace cometer en distintos momentos muchos errores, por ejemplo cuando nos creemos mejores  que otros, nos consideramos perfectos y criticamos aquello que no nos gusta o sencillamente no está acorde con nuestra manera de vivir la fe.

Creemos también que solo el hecho de ayudar a los demás  y hacer  buenas obras nos permite conseguir la salvación.

Por nuestro arrepentimiento Dios nos llama a reconciliarnos con Él y con los demás, nos permite admitir en una condición de humildad y obediencia nuestros errores y  nos llama a que vivamos una vida en armonía, reconociendo siempre que nuestros fallos humanos tienen consecuencia en los otros y las otras. 

Para lograr este progreso interior y renovación  espiritual debemos estar conscientes que sólo siguiendo sus pasos, firmes en la fe y por su gracia inmerecida, lo conseguiremos.

Oración: Dios de misericordia y poder  concédenos tu  gracia hoy y siempre. Permite que nuestra fe en ti nos anime a  renovarnos y transformarnos constantemente, por Jesucristo quién nos enseñó el camino de la salvación. Amén.
