WHAT NEVER FAILS
JOSHUA 1:1-9
“...I will be with you; I will never leave
you nor forsake you.”
Joshua 1:5b
A dramatic arts professor used to tell his students over and over
again: “Put all of your thinking into the role that you are playing.” This was
a good piece of advice then and it is good now. In order for life to be an
enchanting and useful drama, it is necessary to saturate the mind with thoughts
of success, not with ideas of failure.
God enhances our highest aspirations and encourages those with fewer
talents. Sometimes we don’t understand his plans for our life, but we can be
sure of one thing: He is always by our
side.
God gave Joshua a faithful promise: “As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor
forsake you.”
Even though He is very close to us at all times, we recognize His
presence when we seek His communion. Have it present in all your paths, and He
will direct your steps through the paths of certainty.

Lord, for giving us understanding and security. Amen.
LO QUE NUNCA FALLA

ni te desampararé”
Josué 1:5b
Un profesor de dramaturgia
acostumbraba a repetir una y otra vez a sus estudiantes: “Pon todo tu
pensamiento en el papel que te toca desempeñar”. Este consejo fue bueno
entonces y es bueno ahora.
Para que la vida resulte de un dramatismo
encantador y útil es menester saturar la mente con pensamientos de éxito, no
con ideas de fracaso. Dios engrandece nuestras aspiraciones más elevadas y
alienta al de escasos talentos. A veces no comprendemos sus planes para nuestra
vida, pero de una cosa estamos seguros: siempre está a nuestro lado.
Dios le dio a Josué una fiel promesa: “Que como
estuve con Moisés, así estaré contigo; no te dejaré ni te desampararé”
Él está muy cerca en todo momento, pero
reconocemos su presencia cuando buscamos su comunión. Tenle presente en todos
tus caminos, y Él dirigirá tus pasos por la senda de seguridad.
Oración: Gracias Señor, porque tú
nos das comprensión y seguridad. Amén.
