I AM YOUR SHIELD
Psalm 91:1-4
“God is a
shield to those who take refuge in him.”
Proverbs 30:5
In this beautiful psalm we find something that
is very important in order to live in these very difficult times that we are
currently experiencing.
Strength is security and trust in the Lord. And
we can find all of that in our God, who alone can grant it to us. Also, if we
place our trust in him we can rest assured beneath his wings. Like the mother hen who shelters her baby
chicks, the Lord protects us and delivers us from evil, and nothing will weaken
us, because he is our strength and our shield.
In our difficult moment let us use the Lord as
our shield, and if we truly trust in God, we will be assured of his help.
Prayer: Our God, help us and come quickly to our rescue. Glory be to the Father, and to the Son and to
the Holy Spirit. As it was in the
beginning, now and ever shall be, forever and ever. Amen.

YO SOY TU ESCUDO
Salmo 91:1-4
“Dios es el escudo de quienes en él confían”
Proverbios 30:5
En
este hermoso salmo encontramos algo que es muy importante para vivir en estos
tiempos tan difíciles por los que atravesamos.
La
fortaleza es seguridad y confianza en el Señor. Y donde podemos encontrar todo
eso es en nuestro Dios, que es el único que nos lo puede proporcionar. También,
si ponemos nuestra confianza en él podemos descansar seguros debajo de sus
alas. Como la gallina abriga a sus pollitos, el Señor nos protege y nos libra
del mal, y nada nos debilitará, porque él es nuestra fortaleza y escudo.
En
los momentos difíciles pongamos al Señor como nuestro escudo, y si de veras
confiamos en Dios, estaremos seguros de su ayuda.
Oración: Dios nuestro, auxílianos y date prisa en socorrernos. Gloria al Padre, al
Hijo y al Espíritu Santo. Como era en el principio, ahora y siempre, por los
siglos de los siglos. Amén
