GOD IS PEACE
John
20:19-23
“Peace I
leave with you; my peace I give to you.
I do not
give to you as the world gives”
John 14:2
Peace is a gift of God in Jesus Christ. Peace
comes from our justification, not our righteousness.
Peace comes
through faith, not through works. Peace is a word we know in our daily living. Being
in conflict with God, with others and with ourselves, we know nothing about our
peace.
Peace is a
gift of God, resurrected in Jesus Christ. It is he who breaks through the walls
of separation. Without a mediator there can be no peace among peoples, neither
between God and ourselves nor in ourselves.
Peace has
a name, and that name is Jesus Christ. He can secure your peace. He can put you
at ease with yourself and with your neighbor, and with the universal consciousness.
Prayer: Lord, give us that peace today that the world
cannot give. Amen.

La
paz es don de Dios en Jesucristo. La paz proviene de nuestra justificación, no
de nuestra justicia.
La
paz viene por la fe no por las obras. Paz es palabra que conocemos en nuestro
vivir cotidiano. Enemistados con Dios, con otros y con nosotros mismos. No
sabemos nada acerca de nuestra paz.
La
paz es un don de Dios en Jesucristo resucitado. Él es quien rompe las paredes
de separación. No puede haber paz entre la gente si no hay un mediador. Como no
puede haberla entre Dios y nosotros, ni en nosotros mismos.
La
paz tiene un nombre y ese nombre es Jesucristo. Él puede obrar tu paz. É1 puede
ponerte a bien contigo mismo. Puede ponerte a bien con tu prójimo y con la
conciencia universal.
Oración: Señor, danos hoy esa paz
que el mundo no puede dar. Amén.
