ALWAYS REBUILDING

Jeremiah 1:4-10

“Now I have put my words in your mouth. See. Today I appoint you over nations and over kingdoms to pluck up and pull down, to destroy and plant.”

Jeremiah 1:10

There are great and beautiful buildings, which with the passing of time have deteriorated, and although we admire them and are attached to them it’s necessary to demolish them in order to avoid drastic accidents. This is something that happens in our daily lives. There are times when we need to undo or reconstruct concepts, opinions and attitudes, to flip “the coin to the other face,” and begin again, because by doing so it helps us to develop.

This was one of the experiences the prophet Jeremiah had by being called by God, and without understanding what God was asking. He had to act and comply with what he was commanded to do. Thus God invites us to listen to his voice and work according to his will, which is always wise.

Prayer:  Thank you, Lord, for guiding our lives, inviting us to necessary changes which help us to follow the journey. Amen.

RECONSTRUYENDO SIEMPRE

Jeremías 1:4-10

“Te he puesto… para que arranques y destruyas, para que arruines y derribes, para que construyas y plantes”

Hay grandes y hermosas edificaciones que, con el paso del tiempo, se han deteriorado y aunque las admiramos y llegamos a encariñarnos con ellas, es necesario demolerlas para evitar drásticos accidentes. Así sucede en nuestra cotidianidad. Hay ocasiones en que tenemos que deshacer o reconstruir conceptos, opiniones, actitudes, virar la “moneda hacia la otra cara” y volver a empezar, porque este cambio nos ayuda a seguir adelante.

Ésta fue una de las experiencias vividas por el profeta       Jeremías, al llamado de Dios y sin entender lo que él le pedía, tuvo que actuar y cumplir con lo que le fue encomendado. Así, Dios nos invita a escuchar su voz y obrar según su voluntad, que es siempre sabia.

Oración: Gracias Señor, por guiar nuestras vidas, invitándonos a cambios necesarios que nos ayudan a seguir el camino. Amén.
