WATCH OUT, THERE’S A LOG IN YOUR EYE!

Matthew 7:1-6

“Brothers, do not speak evil of one another, who are you to judge your neighbor?”

James 4:11

We play God a lot, and we sin by doing so. God, who is God, has the right to judge, to condemn. Only him, not us.

Evilness exists in the world; it goes hand in hand with disaffection, and it confuses us. But God, as he wills, will be just.

Our Lord shows us the way. We simply have the opportunity to choose, to change, to do, love, dedicate, to give ourselves in service to the other.

God blesses us daily before the attempt and after the glorious result. We are sure that he always has us in mind because we are walking with him. Because we are fighting to be just; because we are trying to love as he loves us; because we are trying to live a life with the objective of simply being sons and daughters of God.

Don’t forget this special opportunity the Lord gives us!

Prayer:  Lord, you teach us that we shouldn’t judge so as not to be judged. Forgive me for the times I speak badly of my neighbor and when I forget I’m not perfect. Amen.

¡CUIDADO! HAY UNA VIGA EN TU OJO

Mateo 7:1-6

“Hermanos, no hablen mal los unos de los otros…

¿quién eres tú para juzgar a tu prójimo?”

Santiago 4:11s

Muchas veces jugamos a ser Dios, y pecamos en ello. Dios, que es Dios, tiene el derecho de juzgar, de condenar, solo él, no nosotros.

La maldad existe en el mundo, se da la mano con el desamor, y nos confunde. Pero Dios en su momento hará lo justo.

Nuestro Señor nos muestra el camino. Nosotros tenemos sencillamente la oportunidad de escoger, de cambiar, de hacer, de amar, de brindar, de darnos por el otro en servicio.

Dios nos bendice cada día ante el intento y después del resultado glorioso, estamos seguros que siempre nos tiene en cuenta; porque estamos caminando con él, porque estamos luchando para ser justos, porque tratamos de amar como él nos amó, porque intentamos vivir una vida con el propósito de ser sencillamente hijos e hijas de Dios.

¡No olviden esta especial oportunidad que el Señor nos da!

Oración: Señor, tú nos enseñas que no debemos juzgar para no ser juzgados. Perdóname por las veces que hablo mal de mi prójimo y me olvido que yo no soy perfecto.
