GOD,
SUBLIME LOVE
1 John
4:7-21
“God’s
love was revealed among us in this way: God sent his only son into the world so
that we might live through him.”
1 John 4:9
We all know that the
love shared between two people isn’t reciprocal in its totality. This happens
as well with friendship; one person is more faithful than the other, or more
sincere and outgoing in its manifestation.
But the love shown by God in the redemptive work
of Jesus Christ is sublime and unique. God has set a condition to his sons and
daughters: that we share this love in transitive form. I have loved you so that
you may love your brothers and sisters in the same manner, and thus it becomes
evident that you love me reciprocally.
So let’s do this, it’s still the time to love!
Prayer: God of
mercy, thank you for your sublime and infinite love given to us undeservedly. Amen.

DIOS, AMOR SUBLIME
1 Juan 4:7-21
“En esto se mostró el amor de Dios para con nosotros: en que Dios
envió al mundo a su Hijo unigénito,
para que vivamos por él”
1 Juan 4:9
Todos
conocemos que el amor compartido entre dos personas, no es en su totalidad
recíproco. Así sucede también con la amistad, una de las partes es más fiel que
la otra o más sincera y espléndida en su manifestación.
Pero
el amor mostrado por Dios en la obra redentora de Jesucristo es sublime y
único. Dios nos ha dado una condición a sus hijos e hijas: que compartan este
amor en forma transitiva, yo les he amado, para que ustedes amen de la misma
forma sus hermanos y hermanas y así se manifiesta que me aman recíprocamente.
¡Aprovechemos, que aún es tiempo de amar!
Oración: Dios de misericordia,
gracias por tu sublime e infinito amor, dado a nosotros inmerecidamente. Amén.
