GOING TO CHURCH
HEBREWS 10:25

Hebrews 10:25
Although the watch is a delicate instrument, if it is
properly cared for, it will provide its service indefinitely. However, no
matter how good it may be, if it isn’t handled carefully it will fail. It is
necessary to wind it regularly, protect it from rough handling and keep it
closed to protect the works.
The human spirit is also a delicate instrument which demands
care and attention. A method of maintaining a healthy and vigorous spirit
consists in taking regular advantage of church services. Those who worship
together learn to live together.
Faithful attendance at church strengthens our faith and our
ability as Christians to serve God and humanity. It offers Jesus the
opportunity to communicate with us and to guide our actions and our whole life.
For the good that we can do and for the good which we
receive, we should attend church with complete regularity. It’s not a question
of enlarging the list of active members but of the responsibility that comes
with the call we have received from the Lord.
Prayer: Lord, today we want to hear your voice, to recognize that
in your holy house we may share our burdens and better hear your call to follow
you. Amen.

ASISTIENDO A LA IGLESIA
HEBREOS 10:25

Aunque el reloj es
instrumento delicado, si se le cuida debidamente presta sus servicios por
tiempo indefinido. En cambio, por bueno que sea, si no se maneja con esmero,
fallará. Se hace necesario darle cuerda oportunamente, evitarle golpes y
mantenerse cerrado para proteger la maquinaria.
El alma humana también
es instrumento delicado y demanda cuidado y atención. Un método para mantener
el alma sana y vigorosa consiste en aprovechar con regularidad los servicios de
la Iglesia. Los que juntos adoran aprenden a vivir juntos.
La fiel asistencia a la
Iglesia fortalece la fe y capacita al cristiano para servir a Dios y a la
humanidad. Le ofrece a Jesús la oportunidad de comunicarse con nosotros y de
encauzar nuestras acciones y la vida toda.
Por el bien que podemos
hacer y por el bien que recibimos, debemos asistir con toda regularidad a la
Iglesia. No se trata de completar una lista de miembros activos, sino de la
responsabilidad con el llamado que hemos recibido del Señor.
Oración: Hoy queremos oír tu voz Señor, reconocer que en
tu santa casa podemos compartir nuestras cargas y escuchar mejor tu llamado
para seguirte. Amén.
