RETURN TO GOD
REVELATION 3:1-6
Remember what you have seen and heard.
Hold on to it and change your hearts and
lives…
Revelation 3:3 (CEB)
The Lord invites us to commit ourselves, to return to Him, and to value
our roots, our origins, and our church.
Often without noticing it, all our rushing around, obligations, goals,
visions, and work will distract us from the essence of life. To divert our path
to return to our North which is God is not a comfortable task.
How do we do it? How do we make
God our axis in life?
Clearly the Bible expresses it:
share our testimony, actively participate in our community, being not
simple spectators but sowers of the good seeds that sow trust, happiness,
goodness, hope, peace and love in all brothers and sisters who accompany us in
this passage through life toward life eternal.
It is not easy, but the reward is mercy.
For this it is worth receiving, following and returning to God and to
his teachings.
Prayer: Lord, as we approach the end of Lent, we
recognize that we should return to you, with hope and the fervent desire that
you become the central axis of our lives.

VUÉLVETE A DIOS
APOCALIPSIS 3:1-6
Recuerda pues la enseñanza que has
recibido,
síguela y vuélvete a Dios…
Apocalipsis 3:3
El Señor nos invita a comprometernos, a regresar y
valorar nuestras raíces, nuestros orígenes, nuestra iglesia.
Los tiempos apresurados, las obligaciones, las metas,
las visiones, las ocupaciones, muchas veces sin percibirlo, nos distraen de la
esencia de vida. Desviar nuestro andar para volver a nuestro Norte que es Dios,
no es una labor cómoda.
¿Cómo lograrlo? ¿Cómo hacer de Dios nuestro eje en
la vida?
Claramente lo expresa la Biblia: compartir nuestro
testimonio, participar activamente en nuestra comunidad, siendo no simples
espectadores, sino sembradores de las buenas semillas que cosechen confianza,
alegría, bondad, esperanza, paz y amor en todos los hermanos y hermanas que nos
acompañan en este transitar por la vida hacia la vida eterna.
No es sencillo, pero la recompensa es
misericordiosa. Por eso vale la pena recibir, seguir y volver a Dios y a sus
enseñanzas.
Oración: Señor, cuando
casi finalizamos este tiempo de Cuaresma reconocemos que debemos volvernos a
ti, con la esperanza y el deseo ferviente de que seas tú el eje central de
nuestras vidas. Amén.
