PERFECT PEACE

1 PETER 5:10

You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast

because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever

because the Lord, the Lord himself, is the rock eternal.  (NIV)

Isaiah 26:3-4

What is perfect peace? Perhaps a life without problems? A smooth passage to the future without shocks in the roadway? Not for Christians. We know that life on earth will never be easy, but God promises to keep us in perfect peace if our thoughts are fixed upon him.

One only finds perfect peace by having a relationship, minute by minute, with Jesus Christ. It’s a continuous faith, and the confidence that God has really everything determined. It’s to believe that each setback, each anxiety, every problem in every crisis will be amended by God.

You can live in peace, including during the inconveniences of life. You do not have to believe you need to solve everything yourself. Doesn’t this remove the pressure from within you?

Begin and end your day trusting in the one who keeps us in perfect peace.

Prayer: Loving God, thank you for offering peace in the middle of the pressures of life; thank you because I am not in charge, and because you have it all determined. Amen.

PAZ PERFECTA

1 PEDRO 5:10

¡Tú guardarás en perfecta paz a todos los que confían en ti, a todos los que concentran en ti sus pensamientos! Confíen siempre en el Señor, porque el Señor Dios es la roca eterna.

Isaías 26:3-4

¿Cuál es la paz perfecta? ¿Acaso una vida sin problemas? ¿Un paseo suave al futuro sin sacudidas en la carretera? No para los cristianos. Sabemos que la vida en la tierra nunca será fácil, pero Dios promete guardarnos en perfecta paz si nuestros pensamientos están fijos en Él.

La paz perfecta sólo se encuentra teniendo una relación de minuto a minuto con Jesucristo. Es una fe continua y la confianza de que Dios lo tiene todo realmente determinado. Es creer que cada contratiempo, cada angustia, cada problema y cada crisis serán enmendados por Dios.

Puedes vivir en paz incluso durante las inconveniencias de la vida. No tienes por qué tenerlo todo solucionado por ti mismo. ¿No te quita esto la presión de arriba?

Comienza y termina tu día confiando en aquel que nos guarda en perfecta paz.

Oración: Dios amado, gracias por ofrecer paz en medio de las presiones de la vida. Gracias porque no estoy a cargo y porque tú lo tienes todo determinado. Amén.
