THY KINGDOM COME
MATTHEW 6: 9-13
“… thy Kingdom come; Thy will be done on
earth
As it is in Heaven…”
Matthew 6:10
When I feel sad and helpless,
When lies abound,
When fear and indifference increase
Thy kingdom
come.
When joy is lacking,
When love is absent,
And lack of belief increases,
Thy kingdom come.
For the sick and the solitary,
For the prisoners and the tortured
Thy kingdom come.
To our churches, to our prayers, to our
singing,
Thy kingdom come.
To our hearts, to our hands,
To our eyes,
Thy kingdom
come. Soon!

Prayer: On this day, Lord, we implore for your kingdom of peace with
justice. Fill our hearts with your love and help us to share this love with the
needy. Amen.

así en la tierra
como en el cielo.”

Cuando me siento triste y sin ayuda,
cuando imperan las
mentiras,
cuando aumentan el miedo
y la indiferencia,
que venga tu reino
Cuando falta la alegría,
cuando falta el amor,
y aumenta la falta de
creencia
que venga tu reino
Para los enfermos y los
solitarios,
para los prisioneros y
los torturados
que venga tu reino
A las iglesias, a
nuestras oraciones, a nuestro cantar,
