DON’T ALLOW A LACK OF CREATIVITY

ROMANS 12:1-8

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed...

Romans 12:2

If you want to kill creativity in the Church, always use these expressions:

Don’t dream.

There’s no time.

It costs too much.

It’s not your problem.

It’s too much work.

We already tried that, and it didn’t work.

It’s a good idea, but it’s not possible.

Keep your feet on the ground.

We have a different way of doing things here.

We’ve never done it that way before, and it won’t work.

The young people again!

Will it work? Better not to even try it.

Remember that creativity is the mother of innovation, and it is not a question only of innovating, but of giving free rein to creativity when we are employed in God's work. For when we let ourselves be ruled by legalism, by apathy or by fatigue, our work becomes sterile and we fail to produce the many fruits in the wonderful harvest that the Lord expects. Sometimes we have to struggle with those who think that everything is already done, or that they know it all. We have those people in the Church, but we also have creative people eager to work. Let’s join hands and dreams to work for the Kingdom that Jesus inaugurated among us.

Prayer: Lord, help me to make all things new with your help and direction. Amen.

NO DEJES QUE FALTE LA CREATIVIDAD

No os conforméis a este siglo, sino transformaos..

Romanos 12:2

Si quieres matar la creatividad en la Iglesia, usa siempre estas frases:

No sueñes

No hay tiempo

El costo es alto

No es tu problema

Es demasiado trabajo

Ya eso lo dijeron hace tiempo y no funcionó

Es buena idea pero no se puede

Pon los pies en la tierra

Aquí la costumbre es otra

Eso nunca se ha hecho y de esa forma no funciona

¡Otra vez los jóvenes!

¿Será adecuado? Mejor ni intentarlo.

Recuerda que la creatividad es la madre de la innovación. Y no se trata sólo de innovar, sino de dar rienda suelta a la creatividad cuando trabajamos en la obra de Dios. Porque cuando nos domina el legalismo, la apatía y el cansancio, entonces nuestro trabajo se vuelve estéril y dejamos de producir muchos frutos en esa cosecha maravillosa que el Señor espera. En ocasiones tenemos que lidiar con quienes piensan que ya todo está hecho o los que piensan que “se las saben todas”.  En la Iglesia los tenemos, pero también tenemos personas  creativas y con ganas de trabajar. Unamos manos y sueños para trabajar por el reino que Jesús inauguró entre nosotros.

Oración : Ayúdame Señor, a hacer nuevas todas las cosas con tu ayuda y  dirección. Amén.
