LET US ALWAYS PRAISE GOD

PSALM 146:1-6

Happy are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord their God

Psalm  146:5 (NRSV)

    The diversity of humanity can be appreciated in the gifts with which God gives us and the ways in which we praise God. In the life of faith we learn that worship must always spring from our lips and our hearts. In all the various traditions of Christianity, Jesus Christ is praised. Some are marked by silent worship; others use songs in various styles, live music, exclamations, dances, or reject the use of instruments using only their voices. Such diversity is controversial when we prioritize the how and forget that all sincere praise of God is valid.
     How can we know that our worship is sincere?
    Psalm 146 illuminates our devotional life. Our praise is valid when it's a conscious personal decision, from the bottom up, when our life is a sign of praise. There is no specific time to do it, where we are, while we do anything, when we abandon ourselves to God, recognizing that he works with love, forgiveness, healing, as a patient, just God who always listens.
    Let us live always in a spirit of gratitude and praise!


Prayer: Lord, grant that our lives may be a permanent time of devotion. We worship and give ourselves to you. Amen.

ALABEMOS SIEMPRE A DIOS

SALMO 146:1-6

Feliz quien se apoya en el Dios de Jacob, quien tiene su esperanza en Yahvé

La humanidad es diversa, es apreciada en los dones que Dios nos regala y en las maneras de alabarle. En la vida de fe aprendemos que la adoración debe brotar siempre de nuestros labios y corazones. En todas las tradiciones cristianas se alaba a Jesucristo. Unas se identifican con una adoración silenciosa, otras incluyen cantos de variados estilos, música en vivo, exclamaciones, danzas o rechazan el uso de instrumentos, usando solamente sus voces. Tal diversidad, es polémica cuando priorizamos el cómo y olvidamos que toda alabanza sincera a Dios es válida.
 ¿Cómo saber qué nuestra adoración es sincera?
El salmo 146 ilumina nuestra vida devocional. Es válida nuestra alabanza:
   Cuando es una decisión personal consciente, desde lo más profundo. Cuando nuestra vida es señal de alabanza.  No existe momento específico para hacerlo, donde estemos, mientras hacemos cualquier cosa. Cuando nos abandonamos en Dios, reconociendo que obra con amor, perdón, sanación; como un Dios paciente, justo, que escucha siempre.
¡Vivamos siempre en espíritu de gratitud y alabanza!


Oración: Permite Señor,  que nuestra vida sea un tiempo permanente de devoción. Te adoramos y nos damos a ti. Amén
