LIVING WORD
HEBREWS 4: 11-12
Indeed, the word of God is living and active….
Hebrews 4:12 (NRSV)
We like to talk. The word is a great gift of God. If no one hears, it is as if no one will
talk, as if we ourselves we will not talk.
We need to hear ourselves so that the human word will have practical
value.
In reference to the Word of God, it must penetrate
us and deepen our lives, for the good of our own lives. We need the penetrating power of the divine
message to be real in our being. We can
not live without spiritual and active food, and we need to be more than
hearers, also doers of the Word.
The devotional hour
is the best hour of the day if in it the Word of God penetrates in your
interior and becomes effective for you on the rest of your daily walk. All will be clear and bright on the day that
you talk with God in the morning and hear what God has to say to you each
day. The Word of God is living and
active and penetrates more than the sharp two-edged sword so that it enters the
profound needs of the soul of the creatures of God.
Prayer: Father and Lord, help me to be able to have a moment of communion with you daily, and that your living and active Word may penetrate in my being with your message of life. Amen.

PALABRA VIVA
HEBREOS 4: 11-12
Porque la palabra de Dios es viva y eficaz
Hebreos 4:12
A nosotros nos gusta hablar. La palabra es un gran don
de Dios. Si nadie oye, es como si nadie hablara, como si nosotros mismos no
habláramos. Necesitamos oír a nuestros semejantes para que la palabra humana
tenga valor práctico.
En cuanto a la Palabra de
Dios, tenemos necesidad de que penetre en nosotros y profundice en nuestras
vidas, por el bien de nuestras vidas mismas. Necesitamos que el poder de
penetración del mensaje divino, sea real en nuestro ser. No podemos vivir sin
aliento espiritual eficaz, y necesitamos ser, más que oidores, hacedores de la
Palabra.
La hora devocional es la mejor hora del día si en ella la Palabra de
Dios penetra en tu interior y se hace eficaz para ti el resto de tu jornada.
Todo será distinto y luminoso en el día que hables con Dios por la mañana y
también oigas lo que Dios tiene que decirte para cada día. La Palabra de Dios
es viva y eficaz y más penetrante que toda espada de dos filos para entrar a
las necesidades profundas del alma de las criaturas de Dios.
Oración: Padre y Señor, ayúdame a poder tener un momento de comunión diaria contigo, y que tu Palabra viva y eficaz pueda penetrar en mi ser con un mensaje de vida. Amén.
